Desert (Overworld)

This is the easiest way to collect cacti for a cactus farm, and important if you are trying to collect all dye colors, as cooking cacti is the only way to get green. It's also the easiest way to get sand if you want to build with sand or glass. It's an easy to find biome that can give you a head start on your adventure. Jungle & Bamboo Jungle (Overworld)

You will also need to bring home some raw jungle wood or jungle saplings in order to make a cocoa pod farm. Jungle saplings have a lower drop rate than other saplings, so you can bring a tool with the makeshift enchantment. There is also a chance to find rare monsters such as parrots and ocelots, and if it is a bamboo jungle, you can also find pandas. You can also find a jungle temple.
