All Alolan Diglett locations in Pokemon Sword and Shield's Isle of Armor

All Alolan Diglett locations in Pokemon Sword and Shield's Isle of Armor

As you begin your exploration of Pokémon Sword and Shield's new wild area on the Isle of Armor, you will encounter an NPC and his Alolan Diglett. He explains that he fell in love with the Alolan variant and grabbed several of them. Today, 150 of them are missing, scattered across the map. He asks you to find them for him.

The Alolan Diglett are spread throughout the new Isle of Armor map. The amount of Diglett in an area varies. Small areas have about eight. Larger areas can have up to twenty. Diglett can be in the open or hidden in flowers or behind rocks. The game will tell you how many are left in that area when you find them.

We've organized this list alphabetically. Although you probably don't enter these areas in this order, it is easier to find the information.

All Alolan Diglett sites

Brawlers Cave

There are seven Diglett in Brawler's Cave.

  • Right at the mouth of the cave. There is a Diglett hidden by the left wall.
  • From the first Diglett, follow the path to a large pillar. It is at the foot of the rocks, by the ledge on your left.
  • Follow the path. On the left, between the wall and another stone pillar, you will see the third Diglett.
  • Stand close to the left wall as it curves around an area with a den. There is a Diglett hidden on your left behind a rock.
  • Go back and go down the path, there will be another on your left near a rock.
  • Follow the path down and around a corner, through a rock on the right, is the Sixth Diglett.
  • The last Diglett is on the way to the flat area by the lake. There is a boulder near the back of the cave with Diglett facing the wall.

Challenge Beach

There are nine Diglett's on Challenge Beach. This is an average location to find them. It's not as prevalent as some other places, which makes it less difficult than soothing wetlands.

  • Find the first one on the cliff above the tower.
  • At the corner of the same cliff, at the edge, near the wall.
  • In the sand, just below where we found the first one.
  • At the foot of the large ledge in the middle.
  • The next one is near the weight of the rope near the tower.
  • Follow the edge and you'll find one by the river.
  • There's another along the lower level of the cliff, near the grass.
  • The final is at the edge of the left side of the beach.

Challenge Road

There are eight Diglett's on Challenge Road. Due to the surroundings and the colors along Challenge Road, it is much more difficult to see the hidden Diglett. You will need a keen eye and patience, along with good reflexes to keep the wild Pokemon from waiting to slow you down.

  • Starting near the top, work your way down the slope to the wall. There is a Diglett near the small rock.
  • Follow the road again to the ledge with four bushes near the wall. Diglett will be right in front of the four bushes.
  • Get back on the road and turn right towards a den. Diglett is hidden by the grass.
  • Go up the hill and right through the bushes and a boulder at the foot of the stairs is another Diglett.
  • Turn right and go up the hill. Diglett is at the top of the hill behind the den, just on the ledge.
  • Go down the hill and go up the stairs. Diglett will be hidden behind a rock and some bushes on the ledge.
  • From there, turn around and turn right down the stairs. Go straight ahead and you will see a rock with some bushes on the edge. Diglett is right in front of them.
  • Finally, climb to the top, near the tower. Diglett is to the left of the entrance to the tower.

Courageous cave

Courageous Cavern has seven Diglett. This is one of the easiest places due to the small number and because they are easy to see in relation to the surroundings.

  • Follow the river into the cave. Diglett is on the right, near a rock and a den.
  • The next Diglett is on the road, to the right, near a rock next to the wall.
  • Go down the path going down, cross the water. There is a ledge with a Diglett on it.
  • Head to the exit, and you'll find a Diglett on the left near the wall.
  • Go up the road and Diglett will be on the right hand side.
  • Turn right on the road in the open cave area, Diglett is near a rock.
  • Follow the road and the last Diglett is in a room with three dens. Diglett is by the first den on the left.

Fields of honor

Fields of Honor is the first area the player encounters in the new Isle of Armor wilderness area. Fields of Honor is huge compared to other locations and has 18 hidden Diglett's.

  • Starting at the entrance to the dojo, head into the garden and into the back right corner. Diglett is near the edge of the slope.
  • The next Diglett is in the little garden.
  • Go up the hill to the den. Diglett is near the rock and the tree near the wall on the left.
  • The next Diglett is along the way to the dojo.
  • On the right side of the dojo (left side if you approach it) there is a large boulder. Diglett is hidden behind.
  • Between the two trees by the ledge. Diglett is stuck in the corner.
  • Follow the path and turn right. There is a tree near the left wall with a Diglett in its roots.
  • Go to the bridge. Diglett is hidden in the grassless patch near the bridge.
  • From there go towards the water and you will see a Diglett at the edge.
  • Cross the bridge and turn left. Head towards the water again, there will be another Diglett between the patch of grass and the edge.
  • Follow the ledge and you'll see another on the slope down to the beach (this one is around 3:45 in the video).
  • Go down to the beach. There's a Diglett in the sand.
  • Go towards the big rock by the entrance of the station. The Diglett is between her, a small rock and some grass.
  • There are three Digletts near the station. One behind the crates and two by two trees.
  • Lower the narrow beach. There is a small patch of flowers near the wall with a Diglett hidden in it.
  • Return to the dojo. Head left, before the river, and you'll find a Diglett next to the rim.

Concentration forest

The Concentration Forest has eight Diglett's hidden around trees and grass. While not as difficult to see as the ones on Challenge Road, they are not easy and blend in with the yellow flowers scattered throughout the forest.

  • At the entrance, head towards the bridge. There is a tree with a Diglett next to it.
  • Turn right and follow the path to the berry in the left corner. The Diglett is next to the bays, next to the path wall.
  • Follow the path and take the bridge to the right. Just to the right of the bridge is another Diglett.
  • Near the riverside, further up the path, is the Fourth Diglett.
  • Come back on the path and cross the bridge. There's another Diglett hidden by the path wall.
  • Further down is the sixth Diglett to the right by a tree.
  • Go to the berry tree on the road. There is another one in the red flowers near the wall and the tree.
  • The last Diglett is down the path, near the water's edge, against the wall.

Honeycalm Island

Honeycalm Island has 11 Diglets hidden on it. It's not the biggest island, so most of them are grouped together, making it one of the easiest, despite the higher number.

  • The first Diglett sits between a patch of red and yellow flowers on one of the smaller honeycombs.
  • On the next honeycomb another is in some yellow flowers.
  • On the branch with a rock and a den, there is one near the bushes and another near the rock on the beach.
  • To the right, there is another hidden on the beach side by a den on the next branch of the island.
  • On the next branch, two are hidden. One near the other side and one near the middle by the sand.
  • A branch further, there is a Diglett near the den.
  • In the center, there are three hidden in the red flowers.

Honeycalm Sea

There are only three Diglett's around Honeycalm Sea, which makes it one of the easiest places to gather except for the warm-up tunnel.

  • Two are located on the island with a TM. The first is near the beach. The second is at the back of the narrow path, against the wall.
  • The third is on a small sandy island.

Island sea

The Island Sea has only six Diglett. Chances are, trainers will be tired of searching, so it will be a welcome blessing to just have to find a small handful.

  • There are three on the main island in the middle of the sea. The first with a few small pink flowers, the next on the beach, by the water, another with red flowers by a fruit tree.
  • On a small sandy island with only one den, two Diglett and a Dugtrio are on the other side.

Loop Lagoon

Loop Lagoon has seven Diglett's. It's mostly water, so they're not as hard to spot as other places and are closer to each other instead of being strewn.

  • From the Courageous Cavern exit, Diglett is on the left by the grass.
  • The next Diglett is near the beach, before it turns to sand.
  • Follow the beach and there is another in the sand.
  • Cross the water and another is against a cliff with two logs fallen on it.
  • The fifth is at the water's edge on the same small beach.
  • On the island in the middle, there is one near the bays.
  • The final on the island is at the foot of the cliff in the center.

Potbottom Desert

Potbottom Desert has ten Diglett's hidden in the sand. It's not as big as soothing wetlands and it's easier to see them against red sand than against green soil.

  • One can be found on the left, against the wall and near a dead tree.
  • Next along the wall comes a rock and some shrubs.
  • Further along the wall, around the corner, is another Diglett near a rock.
  • The fourth is in the middle of the sand, still near the wall.
  • Another is near a rock, he's a little further from the rock than usual.
  • The next one is hidden by a dead tree and some bushes near the desert wall.
  • As you move inward, the next one is at the top of the hill in the middle.
  • One is near a rock, further from the wall. The Diglett is close to the rock and can be difficult to see with bushes nearby.
  • Others are scattered in the sands and will need watchful eyes to spot them without many obvious landmarks nearby.

Soothing wetlands

There's a whopping 20 Diglett in the Soothing Wetlands. Like the Concentration Forest, Diglett's blend in well with their surroundings and can be hidden among foliage.

  • As you head towards the soothing wetlands, go left by the large cliff. At the foot of the cliff, near the tree and under a bush is the first Diglett.
  • Go to the water table in front. Diglett is in the yellow flowers at the edge.
  • At the foot of the cliff on the left, there is a fallen log. The Diglett is near the center of it by a few flowers.
  • Near the larger body of water, the one with a mini island and a tree, there is another Diglett with small blue flowers.
  • Cross the water and there is a Diglett at the base of the tree.
  • Return directly to the cliff. By a patch of orange flowers is the next Diglett.
  • Follow the cliff. Between the next body of water on the right and the cliff on the left is a Diglett.
  • To the right of this small body of water is a small tree with a Diglett next to it.
  • Follow the base of the cliff to another body of water next to a fallen log. There will be a Diglett behind the newspaper.
  • You should see a ledge with a river at the base. Follow the ledge. A Diglett is hidden by the tree and the grass at the edge.
  • Follow the river to the foot of a cliff. There is another one near the base.
  • The next Diglett is nearby, in a patch of red flowers near a cluster of small trees.
  • The next one is hard to find. It's 15:45 p.m. in the video linked above. From the last Diglett, head to the Wetlands Center. There is a patch of orange flowers by a tree and some grass, the Diglett will be in front of these.
  • Go to the entrance to the Concentration Forest. On the left, a Diglett in front of orange flowers.
  • By the pond with a fallen log is another Diglett
  • The next Diglett is by two fallen logs and a boulder, not far from the pond.
  • To the right of the two logs at the foot of the cliff is another Diglett. You will find it just after the red flowers.
  • At the base of the cliff in front of the previous Diglett is another. It is hidden in some bushes.
  • Back to the river is a Diglett along the way. He is between orange flowers in the open air.
  • The last Diglett is near the red flowers near a partially buried log with a den next to it.

Springboard Sea

Stepping-Stone Sea has seven Diglett scattered across the smaller islands. Because there is so little land, a lot of Diglett's seem closer to each other. However, players still have to make their way across the vast sea to access it.

  • The island with two large trees has four Diglett. The first near the tree near the water, the second between the big tree and the fruit tree by red flowers, the third at the edge of the cliff and the fourth at the back of the island between the another tree and the cliff.
  • A small sandy island with a rock has two Digletts next to each other.
  • A long island with a rock and a den has a Diglett in the middle.

Plains formation

The Practice Lowlands is another larger area with 15 Diglett's hidden away.

  • Near the entrance to the cave, turn left. There's a Diglett by the wall.
  • Another can be found just to the left of the bridge after crossing it.
  • To the right of the base of the stairs are two Diglett. One is at the edge of the wall. The other is around the corner, further by the left wall.
  • Another can be found at the base of the large cliff wall.
  • Cross the water to the small island in the middle with a small den has a Diglett.
  • The next two are back on the continent. One at the water's edge, the other at the foot of a tree on the right.
  • The next one is in a patch of red flowers to the right near the base of a cliff.
  • Directly across from there is the next one, near the big boulder in the middle.
  • The next one is at the base of the wall surrounded by grass.
  • Another can be found near a tree near the wall.
  • Follow the wall to the beach and you'll find one in the sand.
  • Go up the path to the two bridges, there is a Diglett by the big rock.
  • The last Diglett is near the rock between the two beaches.

Warm-up tunnel

The warm-up tunnel is a blessing. Only three Diglett hiding in the short tunnel.

  • The first is to the left of the entrance.
  • Further down the road, as you turn, there is a second near rocks on the left.
  • The third is on the right near the exit.

Drive sea

The practice sea is immense, but is almost entirely open water. The Eleven Diglett's are hidden on plots of land. The hardest part of this place is the journey between them.

  • The first on a beach right by the sea.
  • There are three on the Big Island with the trainer on it.
  • Go out to sea to one of the smaller islands. There is one by a big rock.
  • A long sandy island with a den has a Diglett in the center.
  • A small island opposite has another Diglett.
  • Head to the island with three large trees on it. The last four are hidden on this island: two by the beach, one near the grass, and one near a large rock.
