Looking for another free multiplayer action shooter to get good at? There are plenty of them already, but developer First Watch Games' Rogue Enterprise is a pretty sleek mix of some genre staples, with a few cooler elements added to the mix. Think Armament of War meets Valorant. There are currently three game modes available during the beta period of the game to cut your teeth.

Demolition

Demolition is rogue business's flagship mode. This is a four-on-four competition in which teams take turns trying to plant a bomb in the opponent's area or defend that area. There are two different areas where bombs can be placed and the defending team can win by beating the clock or eliminating all the opposition. It's a pretty standard game mode, but it's made more unique by Rogue Enterprise's refined progression system and game economy.

Strike

Another four-on-four competition, Strikeout is a combination of King of the Hill and Death Match modes. However, it's more user-friendly than Demolition, as you aren't immediately knocked out if you are knocked out. Unlike Demolition, players can respawn, but each team has a limited number of respawns. Teams can win by reducing their opponent's respawns by either killing them or controlling areas throughout the match. If your team maintains control of the area for 30 seconds, the number of spawns of the opposing team will decrease by one. There is also a good chance that you will end up killing a lot of them in the process. This is a good mode to orient yourself in Rogue Business and is ideal for new players.

Extraction

While mining isn't playable during Rogue Enterprise Beta, it's a King of the Hill-style competition mode. Like the previous two, it also includes two teams of four people. The team that controls the control zone the longest throughout the round will win the round.

In addition to these three modes, there has also been speculation on a fourth mode: Wingman. In Wingman, the competitions would be more intimate with two out of two battles, although there are currently no more details. Nonetheless, Rogue Enterprise is shaping up to be an exciting new free-to-play game. At the very least, it works wonderfully.
