All the islands of the Great Sea in Paper Mario: The Origami King

All the islands of the Great Sea in Paper Mario: The Origami King

Toads are collectible in Paper Mario: The King of Origami. Strange as it sounds, since the Mushroom Kingdom has once again been destroyed, it has scattered various toads across the map. Finding and saving each toad rewards the player with trophies and allows the toads to cheer you on in battle.

Once players meet Captain Toad Paper Mario: The King of Origami, new travel opportunities unlock. Players can roam the Great Sea, a place littered with small islands and toads to rescue. There are eleven islands to find, and each has a toad hidden on it. This isn't the most crucial of the side quests, but for those looking to fully complete the game, not one to miss.

These islands are very small. The waters are relatively open, so it's easy to walk around them without realizing that a small rock with a hill is actually the island to stop and explore. We have a map of all the islands (and dive sites) for players hoping to save all the cruise toads quickly.

In the map above, the eleven islands are the symbols: tower, heart, diamond, etc. Dive locations are marked with a red "X".

The eleven islands are, starting at the top left:

    1. Sea Tower - Top left, 1B
    2. Spade Island - 1D
    3. Club Island - 3B
    4. Diamond Island – 3D
    5. Full Moon Island - 3F
    6. Hammer Island - 4A
    7. Heart Island – 4D
    8. Mushroom Island - 4E
    9. Mystery Island (?) - 5B
    10. Bonehead Island - 5G
    11. Scuffle Island - 7C

Most of the island names correspond to their icon: Spade Island is a cat, like the suit of cards, for example. Full Moon Island is a circle, while Hammer Island could easily be mistaken for a sign. Scuffle Island is a square at the bottom left of the map.

The islands are only accessible after speaking with Captain Toad. You will need to find it first. He will agree to travel the seas with you and take you where you need to go. Once on board, you control the ship and will have to stop on each island and find the toads hidden on it.
