Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turnip Price Guide - What to Buy and Sell

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turnip Price Guide

Once you find Daisy Mae roaming your town, she'll make you an offer that you definitely shouldn't turn down. She sells turnips at a semi-random price per set. This is the Stalk Market, where you buy turnips to sell later in the week. You should definitely take advantage of it, because you can make a ton of bells while doing it. Its price will always range from 90 to 110. Anything equal to or less than 100 is worth buying for sure, and you should really maximize your purchase no matter what.

However, if you have friends to play with, you can always check with them to see if they have a better price to buy. Anything that gets you more turnips is worth tapping into, so don't rush. Daisy Mae is every Sunday until noon, so check with the others and see if you can save Bells and buy more turnips. You just want to buy as many as possible, so sell all your fish or whatever you're willing to give up. Especially in the first few weeks with the game, the boost you get from all of those bells will be immense. So now you've bought a ton of Bells, so at what price are you selling them?

At what price to sell turnips

Once you have your huge collection of turnips, you have to wait until Monday to start selling them. Each day there will be two prices for turnips, one starting when Nook's Cranny opens and a new one at noon. Your main goal is to check this price often and sell it once it hits its highest level. There's no way to be sure this will be the highest price for the week, but as you get closer to the end of the week, you'll want to lower your standards. Your turnips will be rotten by midnight on Sunday morning, so be sure to sell them before then.

As for the prices, they can range from 15 to 800 bells. Again, check with your friends if you can, because once someone hits 250 or more you should probably go ahead and sell, prices above that are rare. To determine if it's worth selling your turnips in your city, you can research some pricing models. There's the really random price where it fluctuates wildly, the descending price where it keeps going down all week, and then two sets of peak prices (one big and one small) where the sell price often bounces up and down. The latter two are hard to predict, but if your price seems to go up and down sequentially, you'll want to sell towards the end of the pattern, while making sure you don't end up with rotten turnips.

The market for stems is difficult to predict, so there is no certain price to sell your turnips. But looking at the models can really help. The biggest key to making turnips from turnips is having enough friends so that when the selling price is huge you can rush out and drain your entire supply.

Hopefully, this Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turnip Price Guide will help point you to great wealth by meeting the buy and sell price of your turnips.
