    App to hide iPhone photos

As I told you at the beginning of the post, if you do not want to turn to third-party applications to hide the photos in the Gallery of your iPhone, to achieve your purpose, you can resort to using the app Gallery, the default of iOS, which allows you to save, view and organize images.

Photos, perhaps not everyone knows, in fact includes a special function that allows you to hide specific images in the Gallery, so that they are invisible to the eye and intends to view the photos saved on the device (by moving them to a special album).

That said, to use the Photos app for the purpose of this tutorial, first take your iPhone, unlock it, access the home screen and select theicon dell'applicazione (quella with the white background and the multicolored flower).

Now, select the photo or photos that you intend to hide (you can search for them using the section Gallery, For you or through that Album), then tap the share button (the one with the rectangle and the arrow) located at the bottom left, choose the option Hide from the menu that appears and confirm your intentions by selecting the option Hide photos from the additional menu displayed.

Should you have second thoughts, you can always restore the photo display by going to the section Album app, scrolling down the displayed screen, selecting the item Hidden placed in correspondence with the section Other albums, tapping on the voice Select at the top right, choosing the photos you want to make visible again in the iOS Gallery, by pressing the sharing button located at the bottom left and choosing, from the menu that opens, the item Show.

If you want to hide the album in question and make your hidden photos more difficult for snoopers to locate, go to the menu Settings> Photos of iOS and deactivate the lever relative toHidden Albums. This feature is only available on iOS 14 and later.

Google Photos is the service made available by the giant of research on the Net, thanks to which it is possible to create an automatic online backup of your images (and your videos), cataloging and organizing them, so that they can then be found more easily. I have chosen to tell you about it in my guide as it is also usable in the form of an application, which integrates a feature that can be useful for concealing specific shots.

To use Google Photos for your purpose, first download the app on your iPhone, by visiting the relevant section of the App Store, by pressing the button Get, by your complaint Install and authorizing the download by Face ID, touch ID o password dell'ID Apple. Then, start the application by touching the button apri appeared on the display or the relative icon that has been added to the home screen.

Then select the additional images you are interested in taking action.

Then, tap on the button (...) at the top right and choose the option Archive from the menu that appears: by doing so, the selected photos will be moved from the main feed of the app to the section archive, thus being hidden.

Keepsafe is another among the apps to hide photos on iPhone that I suggest you consider. It works by providing users with a space in their cloud to securely store files of various types, including photos. Basically it is free, but allows you to keep up to a maximum of 200 items. The limit in question can possibly be circumvented through in-app purchases (at the base cost of $ 9,99 / month), which also allow you to remove advertising and unlock additional functions.

Now that you see the main screen of the app, create your account to be able to start using it, by first tapping on the button Create an account e poi quello Continue. Then type yours name and yours email address in the dedicated fields and press the button Crea.

Next, grant the app permission to access the photos saved on the device by pressing the button OK in response to the warning that appears on the screen, then select the images you want to protect and press the button Import placed at the bottom. Therefore, set the PIN you want to use to preserve access to the images, typing it twice in a row, and that's it.

Subsequently, every time you want to access the photos you have decided to preserve with Keepsafe, you will have to enter the PIN set previously, select the album of your interest and then the photos of your interest.

Note that, by default, images are saved in the named album Main album. If you want, you can create a new album and move them inside: to do this, press the button capacitor positive (+) lead at the bottom right, select the item New private album, type the name you want to assign to the album in the appropriate field and tap the button Save.

Then, go to the main album, tap on checkmark located at the top right, select the photos to move, touch the wording Move which is at the top and select the album of your interest.

If, on the other hand, you need to import additional images into the app or you want to take photos at the moment, you can do it by tapping on the button capacitor positive (+) lead found at the bottom right and selecting the options respectively Import photos and videos or Camera give the menu to compare.

In case you then want to remove the photos added to the app, you can do so by selecting them from the album in which they are stored, as I explained earlier, by tapping on the item Delete placed at the top and on the button Delete the selected items give the menu to compare.
