Apple TV + series "Dickinson" wins Peabody 30 award

    The original Apple TV + series was one of ten winners in the Peabody 30 entertainment category. This year, according to Peabody, there were more than 1.300 entries in the television, podcast and radio and web categories.

    Apple TV + launched in November 2019, and after about eight months of airing, some projects have achieved some prominence. This is the case of The Morning Show, which has won three Golden Globes, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Critics Choice Award.

    George Foster Peabody Awards, known as  Peabody Awards  (In English  George Foster Peabody Awards  e  Peabody Awards), are annual international awards that are awarded to excellence in radio or television broadcasting in the United States. The first was awarded in 1941 for the previous year's programs; they were considered the oldest honors in the electronic media.

    The awards are administered by the University of Georgia's Henry W. Grady School of Journalism and Mass Communication (UGA). The awards are named for businessman and philanthropist George Foster Peabody. As part of its philanthropic activities, Peabody donated the funds that created these awards. 


    The Peabody Awards are generally regarded as the most prestigious awards of honor and distinction in the United States for achievements in the fields of news broadcasting, documentary making, educational programming, children's programming, and entertainment.
