    Imagine taking a small, low-resolution photo and wanting to show it on a 2k display: since monitors play the video full screen by default, you will have a stretching effect with a consequent loss of sharpness.

    So, in the same way, if you have a very high resolution TV with a standard definition (SD) video source, the result will be a blurry, unclear and clean image.     PPI (pixels per inch)

    The PPIs are almost the synthesis of the two points discussed above: monitor resolution and display size. In fact, PPIs are nothing more than the number of pixels per square inch of screen.
