As you venture into the world of Genshin Impact, you will come across various NPCs who might have interesting quests for you. In Dadaupa Gorge, near Galesong Hill, you'll find a Dr. Livingstone studying a phenomenon nearby. In a nearby sword graveyard is a chest surrounded by three shields.
If you speak to Livingstone, she will tell you that she believes the shields are being maintained by the efforts of the neighboring Hilichurl tribes. She'll give you some clues on where to look, but you'll have to hunt down the tribes and deal with each one to drop the shields.
You can find the three tribes marked on the map above by the white horned symbols. Each will present a slightly different challenge, and you'll want to be at character level 18 to tackle it.
The Northern Tribe will have a large elevated platform with a totem pole that you need to interact with. This will start a timer and you will need to eliminate 10 enemies before the time runs out. Once you have all ten dead, hit the central totem pole with some Cryo magic and one of the shields will drop.
The Southern Tribe is located near a small lake, and all you have to do here is take out a few enemies that are near the totem pole. One of them is tall, with a huge shield, so use Pyro to burn the shield, then take it out. When it's done, hit the totem pole with some lightning magic to drop the second shield.
The final tribe is in the southeast, and you'll have to take out a few enemies again, then hit the totem pole with Pyro magic to drop the final shield. After that, you can return to the Sword Graveyard to open the chest.
