Crash Bandicoot 4 - Jetboard Jetty Tips and How to Beat Louise

Jetboard Jet Tips

Let's start with some tips for getting to the boss, Louise, before we end the battle. Jetboard Jetty is a difficult stage mainly due to the jetboard portions of the level. Apart from these, there are standard platforms and an area with mobile platforms that you need to stay aware of. You should be able to overcome them using your usual Crash skills, but keep in mind that the moving platform is a series of floating boats so you don't have to rush over them. You can stop and wait for others to come to you if you can't get to the same platform in time.

For jetboard areas, keep in mind that there is no attack button. You have a boost and should use it to navigate through danger areas, like when the enemy tower is floating towards you, there are cannons nearby, or you encounter a whirlpool. Going slow is also important, as encountering any of these obstacles can get you out quickly. The key to the whole stage, however, is to lure the floating enemies into the other dangers to take them out. In fact, it plays into the boss battle at the end of the stage.

How to beat Louise

Once you have overcome all of these challenges, you will meet Louise. This sprawling gigantic monster can kill you with one hit, so make sure you're always on the move and dodge telegraphed attacks. While you are doing this, Louise will extend a tentacle above the water for these attacks. This is when you can hit, or rather have enemies hit. The way to defeat Louise is to lure enemies' floating tower into its raised tentacles whenever they appear. Just keep the tentacle between you and the floating enemies as they move towards you and they'll hit it. Each time you remove one, another will appear until three manifest in the endgame. Just hit all three and that's how to beat Louise in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.
