In, you play as Sam Bridges Porter, a man who transports goods to the dangerous American continent. He has only one goal in mind: to reestablish the link between cities so that the remaining population can work together to resolve this crisis. You will have to dodge human enemies and ghost BTs to complete your job. Sam will eventually be drawn into a plot, where you will have to fight against some truly formidable supernatural enemies.

The gigantic BT is summoned when you arrive in Port Knot City in Episode 2. The creature, controlled by Higgs, sprawls out and tries to drag you into the water with its huge tentacles. To avoid the noise of voices, bring extra equipment.
You can only damage the BT with Hermetic Grenades. These weapons will undermine your life unless you have a blood bag equipped. For this fight you really only need one blood bag, but you will need a lot of airtight grenades. If your blood bag is dry, it is useful to keep a stock of Cryptobiota. They are common and heal you quickly.
In the arena, immediately rush to the nearest submerged building. Go up and try to stay on dry ground. The BT will attempt to pull the building under. You can use Airtight Grenades to damage it, slowing it down, but it won't stop.
You may need more. You will find additional stocks of Airtight Grenades on the roofs. Collect a few - each has multiple grenades you can throw. Remember to empty unnecessary items when they are empty. Just keep moving!
Otherwise, the boss doesn't offer a lot of challenges. If you stay out of the water, sprint and collect more Airtight Grenades, you will be able to take it out with around 12 to 16 grenades.
The veteran

The boss appears shortly after arriving in South Knot City. When you leave (after a very important delivery), a giant storm will appear, dragging Sam into a mysterious battlefield. You're going to lose all of your gear, so grab whatever you can find. There are many Bood bags, handguns, shotguns, grenades, and assault rifles. I recommend taking some grenades, assault rifles, and shotguns.
The boss is located in a large complex of trenches. It is guarded by undead BT soldiers armed with rifles and shotguns. The shotgun soldiers are your real threat. Once you are spotted, they fan open, pile up, and attempt to attack from multiple angles. They will also use Smoke Grenades or Frag Grenades if you are hiding in a corner.
The goal of this fight is to find the mysterious man himself. Unlock his team, he doesn't have a helmet - he's armed with an assault rifle and wears modern battle gear. His soldiers will surround and protect him if they are nearby, and they tend to travel in large groups. If you can spot them all together, throw a grenade!
The BTs accompanying the veteran can kill you real, very quickly when they're together. Especially the shooters. Use your own gun to knock them out. If you are using an assault rifle, hide and aim for the head so that it kills instantly.
Hunt down the veteran and take him down enough to make him disappear and retreat. He will appear in a different area of the map and send his soldiers to look for you. Use your scanner to locate the undead, fight the veteran and repeat the operation. After about five tries, you will win the fight.
