Destiny 2 - What to do with helium filaments - How to play the tire game

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is here, and if you're going to the moon, there's a machine that wants helium filaments on a platform near Eris Morn. But what is he doing? And how do you get helium filaments?

What to do with helium filaments - how to play the tire game

First of all, you can refuel helium filaments by opening the chests. You must find the filaments on the surface of the moon like any other planetary material. If you collect five, you'll be able to activate the machine near Eris Morn.

It could cause a tire to pop out of the machine which could be a bit confusing at first. If you follow the yellow and black hoses, they go down and away from the machine. You will notice that they end with a ramp and that there are several craters in the ground in front of them.

You can skillfully push the tire up and fly it up the ramp at high speed, through the air, and possibly into one of the holes. So far I've only managed to get an "average score" in the Tire game, but I'm sure it won't be long before someone does better.

You have to try three tires, and if you put them all in the central crater, I guess you'll get some sort of bragging rights on Eris Morn, which is probably terrible at the game.

Now I'm sure helium filaments have other uses besides sending tires down the ramp. So don't use them all on the game until more Shadowguard secrets come to light.
