Where is Xur located this week?
This week, Xur is present in the EDZ. It is in its typical place in Winding Cove.
If you don't know how to get there, land at Winding Cove on Earth. You won't have to go too far to reach Xur from the landing zone. Once you've spawned, head north. Continue until you cross the bridge. From there, you should be able to spot a small ship nestled on the edge of a cliff. Use the ledges conveniently placed on the right side to climb up there and you should find the Agent of the Nine waiting for you. If you can't find it, just try to navigate to the location shown on the map below.
What is Xur selling this week?
Here are all of the weapons and armor that Xur brought with him this weekend along with the prices for the associated Legendary Shards:
- Exotic Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
- Fighting Lion (Grenade Launcher) - 29 Legendary Shards
- Mechanic's Stuff (Hunter's Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan Leg Armor) - 23 Legendary Shards
- The Stag (Warlock Helmet) - 23 Legendary Shards
As always, if you don't like what Xur is selling, you can always test your luck with the more expensive Exotic Engram, which now offers a much better value proposition thanks to a few recent changes. The new Season of Dawn update made settings for Exotic Engrams, so now every Exotic Engram you pick up will act as an isochronous engram, meaning it will only give you an Exotic you don't have. This also goes for those you can buy from Xur, so you have a chance to get one of the brand new Season of Dawn Exotics every week. If you've ever racked up a collection of Exotic weapons and armor by playing hundreds of hours of Destiny 2, then your chances of getting a relatively recent Exotic are pretty good.
Also, Iron Banner is currently underway and the Fighting Lion makes a decent weapon in the crucible. You should definitely buy one from Xur if you don't already have one.
