Division 2 server maintenance details for March 3

The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion has arrived, bringing plenty of new adventures to all impatient agents. Unfortunately, the extension is currently addressing some issues, such as people not being able to speak with community leaders, and a few other bugs. To properly resolve these issues, Ubisoft must deploy an unscheduled maintenance period to apply the appropriate fixes. This means some server downtime while the update is being deployed.

The servers will be closed for unscheduled maintenance on Tuesday March 3 at the following times:

  • 09: 30 CET
  • 03:30 AM EST
  • 00:30 AM PST

The estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.

Unfortunately, although Unisoft plans to roll out fixes for the issues below, they cannot guarantee that this will happen within the above timelines as there is still work to be done on these launch day issues.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the "Reach Town Hall" objective of the WONY intro mission from updating and teleporting players to a different location.
  • Fixed an issue that caused players who exited the helicopter cutscene to get placed and stuck in the Trinity Church.
  • Fixed an issue preventing players from interacting with Community Leader NPCs.
  • Other backend improvements to prevent ECHO errors from occurring for gamers

Situation of the community leader

According to Ubisoft, they've seen players report that reconnecting or quickly moving to and from Safe Homes can fix the community leader issue, but this method hasn't fixed the issue for us yet. The problem seems to be that the NPC is not working properly in a server instance. Players who are able to switch server instances through the methods mentioned above could interact with the NPC.

If that doesn't fix the problem for you, all you can do is wait until the end of the maintenance window, when Ubisoft will hopefully fix the problem.
