Facebook, how to check the relationships between two profiles

Facebook is an extremely powerful tool when it comes to social relationships: it's always nice to scroll through your timeline or news feed to see what happened in our life or what is happening in the life of our contacts.

And talking about contacts, every now and then it's always nice take a dip in memories and, especially with those special friends, relive the moments and memories lived together on Facebook.

In this spirit, in 2012 Mark Zuckerberg introduced the "Friendship Pages", a nice way to visualize the activities that have united you with your contact exactly like a profile page.

The image below shows a Facebook friendship page: note how the profile picture and the cover picture are photos in which both you and your friend you are tagged, and how common information appears in the information - in the case above, your residence, your job, the beginning of your friendship on Facebook and the list of mutual friends.

Things that can appear on a friendship page include timeline messages exchanged with that person, events you both attended, photos you are both tagged in and what they like on Facebook.

Nothing particularly damaging to privacy, then, but enough information to rekindle that friendship or to remember the good times we lived together.

Viewing a friendship page is simple and can be done in three different ways: the first, via Facebook web desktop, is to visit friend's profile in question, click on the icon with the three dots next to "Message" and select “See friendship details".

The second, always feasible from the web but also with a mobile browser, is to write in the address bar the following URL:

    https://www.facebook.com/friendship/vostro_nome_utente/nome_utente_amico

You can retrieve your username and that of your friend by visiting the respective profile pages from the web, exactly after the string "facebook.com/", as you can see from the image below.

The peculiarity of this second method is that you can also compare two profiles different from yours, so as to see - for example - what your parents shared with each other!

The third is feasible through theofficial Facebook mobile app: just go to the friend's profile, tap on the hamburger menu (the one characterized by the three dots) and select "See friendship details".
