FIFA 21 Update 1.14 patch notes
The update is split below between the changes from the last gen and current gen versions and the few changes exclusive to the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions. You can see the full patch notes for the update. FIFA 1.14 day 21 below or on the FIFA Forums.
FIFA Ultimate Team
Resolved the following issues:
- Sometimes when trying to match in Division Rivals, an initialization message might appear and no match could be found.
- In online matches, the end-of-match screens showed both players as FUT Founders, regardless of when their club was founded.
- The Compare Prices function did not return any results when used for stadium items.
- Adjusted the color of the timer present on the Squad screen for live squad building challenges to make it easier to see.
- After entering and exiting the News tab, some parts of the UI did not always display correctly.
- Sometimes, messages may take longer than expected to appear in News panels.
- An “X” UI symbol could appear on player items that were actually eligible for the Three Nations Live FUT Friendly squad requirements.
- It was a visual problem only.
- The user interface can be visually corrupted when selecting and deselecting the challenges to create preferred Live or Foundation teams.
- Some badges displayed a placeholder image.
Career mode
Resolved the following issues:
- Substitutes entering the match unwittingly lost a high amount of Stamina.
- The Sniper achievement did not unlock when its conditions were met - There was a possible stability issue when viewing CONMEBOL Libertadores tournament news.
General, audio and visual
Made the following change:
- Update of some kits, advertising boards, balls, stadiums and 2D portraits.
- Added 8 Starheads and 1 Legacy Starhead.
- Stay tuned to the EA SPORTS FIFA Tracker for when these Starheads become active.
Changes exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S
gameplay
- [PS5] When you change the Enhanced Vibration Feedback option in the controller settings to Off or Classic, the intensity of the dynamic adaptive trigger effect is disabled.
Career mode
- [PS5 and XSX | S] Fixed other cases where a young player's model was not displaying correctly.
