Fortnite - Chapter 2: Complete Challenge Guide The Duel

Fortnite - Chapter 2: Complete Challenge Guide The Duel

We've all seen the arrival of the black hole as the biggest of the many small innovations that Eipc Games had in mind for his Fortnite but, in very few, we could imagine a change of such magnitude within one of the most rooted video games currently out there. With the end of the astrophysical event, Epic Games has renewed all the cards on the table bringing a kind of sequel to Fortnite Royal Battle called Fortnite Chapter 2, version of the title that will make us company (presumably) for the next ten seasons of the game or until the release of the title from the limbo of early access (because Fortnite still in early access).

No more talk, what do we have with this new chapter two within the title?
We have a myriad of new things that we have more or less covered in a macro guide; we can talk about the fishing rods and their ability to turn a game on itself based on the luck of the player, we can talk about the renewed set of weapons within the title that turn the lucky challenges of recent seasons into a series of clashes much more reasoned, we can talk about the speedboats and the ability to swim, true novelty of the title and driving force of new ways of playing.

Why not talk about the new map?
Full of places yet to visit and secrets yet to be discovered, full of many small news that will end up changing the way of playing of the most experienced players, this time with less chance of skybuilding, less chance of doing something else, more need for precision. The addition of historical places, named places and old challenges will be back in today's guide, dedicated to all the challenges of the first season of the title.

What are we talking about?
Let's go and see how you complete the new world challenges!

Fortnite Chapter 2 - guide to the duel challenges.

Search outpost coffers E G O

Fortnite - Chapter 2: Complete Challenge Guide The Duel

This challenge asks the player to go around specific points on the game map in search of chests. These chests will only be found within those locations known as EGO Outposts, the military bases that came out with the arrival of Fortnite Chapter 2 and that we have learned to appreciate during these first weeks of the game. There are currently five outposts on the game map, each containing less than a dozen crates, so it may be difficult to solve this challenge at first because of the large number of players willing to do the same thing.

There are five outposts and g or present within the game map and they are so divided:

an outpost and g o is located at the high ground south-west of Brumose Heath
an outpost and g o is located at the end of the road that passes near Holly hedges
an outpost and g o is located at the area north of Lago Languido, near the river that leads to the center of the game map
an outpost and g o is located near the area between Foschi Fumaioli and Moli Molesti, along the road that serves as an artery connecting the two places
an outpost and g o is located at the coast that we can find west of Pacific Park, close to the beach.

The reward for completing this challenge is measured in fifty-two thousand experience points.

Inflict damage to opponents while on board a speedboat

This challenge asks the player to inflict a good amount of damage on opponents while riding a speedboat. To inflict damage to opponents while riding a speedboat you have two main options: either you use the missile launcher built into the speedboat or you get on one of the passenger seats and use your weapons to complete it. The speedboat's missile launcher, especially a single one, is the only way to complete this challenge and combines good damage at an acceptable blast radius - both parameters that are quite useful for completing this challenge and will surely make players with no friends or less experience happy.

In case you have the support of teammates on your side, all you have to do is let someone drive you around and get to work with the weapons you know how to use best to try to solve the problem in question. The best way to cross someone while you're on the speedboat is to continuously patrol the pass areas between one indicated place and another on the map, perhaps by playing in advance watching the storm's pace; in this way you will certainly be able to intercept the players' movements and solve the problem accordingly.

The reward for completing this challenge is measured at fifty-two thousand experience points.

Visit different outposts E G O

This challenge asks the player to visit different ego outposts within one or more games. As we have already seen above, the ego outposts are historical locations included in the game map with the arrival of Fortnite Chapter 2, which means that the map shown above is also useful for solving this challenge.

Eliminate opponents using only the assault rifle

This challenge asks the player to make eliminations using the assault rifle only. Within Royal Fortnite Battle the assault rifle is perhaps the most popular weapon in the game and is also one of the most powerful and efficient thanks to the excellent combination of distance of fire, damage and rate of fire; fortunately for us this type of weapon is extremely popular within the game itself and is found almost everywhere. Try only to exploit this weapon in war situations that enhance its potential, that is, not trying to cover targets at a distance of three hundred meters, but using it in the clashes at medium and close range to take out opponents, even using skillfully the blow to the head and the resulting critical damage.

The reward for completing this challenge is measured at fifty-two thousand experience points.

Raise a teammate in different matches.

This challenge asks the player to raise a teammate in several games. Raising a teammate in Royal Fortnite Battle only means to get closer to the teammate when he lost his health points for the first time and press the overlay button to make him come to his senses with about twenty life points. You can complete this challenge legitimately, i.e. by saving your teammate in an uncomfortable game situation or by jumping him from great heights until he loses all his health points, so your teammate will have landed and you'll have the chance to hold the interaction button to get him up again.

Do this over and over again and you will be able to complete the challenge in question without any particular problems; if you land in a location with no verticality, remember that you can always build ramps up to a fatal height or you can ask your companion to blow yourself up using grenades or missile launchers facing you.

Search for crates of ammunition in different locations with names.

This challenge asks the player to search for ammunition crates within the locations with names scattered around the game map. Named locations, as you probably already know, are all those locations that have a specific name on the game map and that usually house the majority of the ammunition chests or ammunition crates within Royal Fortnite Battle.

Here is a list of the locations with names present in the Royal Fortnite Battle Chapter 2

Bruminous Heath
Palpitating Mire
Whispering Forest
Languid Lake
Trade Course
Agrifolium Hedges
Sweaty Sands
Smoking Mosses

The ammunition crates are small boxes of ammunition inside houses, on the roofs of houses and in general in places where a player would go to look for hiding place or resources. They are particularly common in Royal Fortnite Battle and are certainly the easiest challenge among those present this week for the "duel" package. To be sure to find crates of ammunition to interact with once you've landed just think about reaching a location away from the trajectory of the battle bus map, doing so will minimize the chance of finding opponents to share the loot with.

Care for teammates by using only the blindfold launcher.

This challenge asks the player to heal his teammates using only the blindfold launcher, one of the most important revelation weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2 and an absolute novelty within the title system. The blindfold launcher, as we have extensively analyzed in our weapons guide, is a bazooka whose shots heal instead of damage and is also the first weapon to occupy two slots within the player's inventory.

We copy an excerpt from our guide for all the relevant information on the operation of the weapon:

"As a weapon it is only available in its epic rarity and has the characteristic of being lootable even from normal chests, a characteristic more unique than rare for a weapon of such rarity. Rather than firing normal bullets, this weapon fires explosive bandages that regenerate 25 health points per shot, until the maximum HP is reached. Its magazine contains a maximum of five rounds and has the peculiarity of not having ammunition that can be found on the street, but a self-healing system that allows the weapon to restore one shot per minute (approximately). Like other rocket launchers, when it hits a target it detonates its target, also treating the surrounding allies at the point of explosion. Fortunately for us this means that by using the weapon against a wall at close range it will be possible to heal, always 25 points at 25 points. “

The main problem with this weapon is its rarity; find one, make sure you have someone to look after (or have them injured if they don't) and start firing until you've restored their waist points shot after shot.

Eliminate opponents at Bisunto Grove or Cliffs.

This challenge asks the player to make a certain number of eliminations at Grove Sharp Grove or Cliffs, two locations named after the game map. Grove Bisunto is a location that you probably already know very well, because of its existence within the game map that stretches forward from the beginning of the title while Cliffs Cliffs is one of the new entries, recently arrived within the title and still not particularly famous. Both the location are two small towns excellent for battles on the medium and short range that leave room for more long distance strategies, thanks to a limited verticality. Remember to treasure also the possibility of hiding inside the shelters to take advantage of the surprise effect and then go to ambush the other players.

The reward for completing this challenge is measured at fifty-two thousand experience points.

Restart a teammate.

This challenge asks the player to reboot a teammate, i.e. to bring the teammate's reboot card to a reboot truck. The reboot trucks are scattered all over the game map and are definitely recognizable thanks to their last one being eliminated altogether (which can also be achieved through the never too popular suicide); once you get the card (be careful to collect it before it expires) you will simply need to move to a van described above and press the contextual interaction button as usual; within a few seconds your teammate will come back to life with a few HP less than usual

The reward for completing this challenge is measured in fifty-two thousand experience points.

Perform seven assists for eliminations made by a teammate.

This challenge asks the player to perform seven assists for eliminations made by a teammate. Making an elimination simply means inflicting damage to the opponent but leaving the final blow to our teammate, which is not always easy to do when you are in the middle of an armed collusion with one or more opponents. To complete this challenge with simplicity we recommend you to do everything in the team brawl mode, mode where thanks to the respawn you will have the opportunity to try again and again to inflict damage to your opponents who will return conitnuamente back to life, in a few dozen minutes of play in that mode you can complete this challenge and then move on to the delivery of this new series of challenges.

The reward for completing this challenge is measured in fifty-two thousand experience points.

Look for the letter N of F O R T N I T E.

Fortnite - Chapter 2: Complete Challenge Guide The Duel

After you have completed all the previous missions you will be able to go and complete the last of the many challenges: the search for the letter based on the acquired upload screen. This will allow us to discover the position of the letter N of F O R T N I T E and will ask us to retrieve it. To retrieve it, start a game in any Fortnite Battle Royale mode, head to the area southwest of Holly Hedges and try to enter the hangar inside the outpost and c or (him again!). Once inside the outpost, try to climb the stairs at the back of the outpost, up there, over two crates, you will find the coveted letter N and you can finally finish this Battle Fortnite Royale challenge.
