Fortnite - How to watch the Galactus live event

When does the Fortnite Galactus event take place?

The Galactus event begins in Fortnite on December 1 at 13 p.m. PT / 16 p.m. ET. We've converted this time to multiple time zones for your convenience below.

  • 13 h 00 PT
  • 15 h 00 CT
  • 16 h HE
  • 21 h 00 GMT
  • 22:00 CET

Epic Games recommends that you log in at least an hour before the event starts, so make sure you arrive early to avoid server issues. Previous Fortnite events like the Doomsday event and the Star Wars trailer premiere have had major server issues, so log in as soon as you can and stay in the game so you don't log out.

How to watch the Galactus Live Event of Fortnite Season 4

To watch the Fortnite Galactus event live, select the event playlist from the main menu once the event has started. The event playlist is scheduled to go live 30 minutes before the official start of the event, so you can walk into the lobby and reserve your spot early. The playlist will likely be called “Devourer of Worlds” or something, so be sure to line up once it appears in the lobby.

If you manage to get there early, you can spend time on the map with other players until the festivities begin. Take one last look at these Marvel POIs and other places, because Galactus isn't called Eater of Worlds for nothing. The map will undergo significant changes over the course of the event, leaving the landscape heavily altered for Season 5. The battle will be tough, and there's even a chance that we can pilot the Battle Bus in the fight against Galactus.

Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and mobile devices. The Galactus event will take place on December 1 and Season 5 will begin the day after December 2 with a brand new membership called Fortnite Crew.
