GoldenEye 007 it's a shooter video game based on the 1995 film of the same name and developed by Rare in 1997 for Nintendo 64. In this videogame there is a single player campaign, with the player playing the famous secret agent James Bond, the spy who in this case must save London from a criminal organization that wants to destroy the British metropolis with a satellite weapon.
The purpose of the organization is to cause a 
real world financial collapse. In addition to single player campaign, GoldenEye 007 can also be addressed in split-screen multi-player mode. The game was initially thought of as a Virtua Cop-style platform shooter, but the design was fortunately changed to a free-roaming shooter. Praised by audiences and critics alike, GoldenEye 007 sold over 8 million copies worldwide, making it the third best-selling title ever for Nintendo 64. A video game that, without a doubt, can be considered a milestone at least for the genre of first person shooter, until then spread almost exclusively on personal computers.
