Since Apple Arcade was announced several months ago people wondered if and when Google would respond to this premium service. Well, Google's 'Play Pass' has entered its testing phase and its release to the world won't be long.
But what is Play Pass?
This is a premium subscription service from Google, which provides users with access to hundreds of premium apps and games. The best part of this is that it allows uninterrupted use of both. That means no ads, no in-app purchases, no interruptions, and that's exactly the point of premium services.
The way this is supposed to work is pretty straightforward. Users will have the chance to try the service with a 10-day free trial. Once that period has passed, they can subscribe to the service for $ 4,99 per month, which is a relatively reasonable price. According to Google, Play Pass will offer a variety of apps, ranging from action hits and puzzles, fitness trackers, premium music apps, and more. It seems that some of the games included in this service are Marvel Pinball, Stardew Valley, Risk and many more
. It remains to be seen whether Google's 'Play Pass' will be good enough to compete with Apple Arcade. As a reminder, in April 2019, it was announced that Apple Arcade had raised $ 500 million in investments which is not a small number compared to the standards.
