Google, the new 'Find your phone' can also find iPhones

    You know the page Personal Account of Google, inaugurated exactly a year ago, which allows the user to find all details and settings related to the various aspects of your account in one place, without the dispersiveness that has characterized the services offered by the big Mountain View for several years?

    And you know then Android Device Management (or Android Device Manager, ADM), that tool inaugurated a little longer that allows perform various operations on Android smartphones on which it has been activated in case of theft or loss?



    For the birthday of Personal Account, Google has introduced a novelty on the summary page: in fact, the section "Find your phone",evolution of ADM that allows make your smartphone ring, reset it, locate it remotely and perform some other operations useful for its finding directly from the browser.

    In addition to a much simpler and more intuitive interface and the ability to access the section via the page Personal Account di Google (or alternatively by going directly to this link), Find Your Phone introduces two major changes: first of all it will no longer have to be manually activated but it will automatically take effect on any smartphone they are associated with your Google credentials and, more importantly, now allows you to perform the various operations not only on Android smartphones but also on iPhones.



     

    The news, however, does not end there: Google has announced that the page Personal Account it can also be reached, starting today, using the voice assistant; in addition, it will soon be possible to call up the page Find your phone simply by typing in Google Search or by saying to Siri or Google Now the words "i lost my phone".
