How to increase mastery level in Hitman 3
While everything you do in Hitman 3 rewards XP, there are two strategies that will maximize your experience gains and level you up faster than usual.
1. Get high marks
It's pretty obvious that getting high ranks will increase your level quickly, but it's hard to overestimate the amount of XP you'll get if you leave a mission with a five-star Silent Assassin rating. Take the time to learn the level layouts and patrol patterns of your targets and you can use them to your advantage.
Additionally, going for wins that give you more XP is also a great strategy. Even if you don't get a perfect five-star rating, anything that leads to a higher rating is usually a good idea to do. Accidentally killing, destroying security camera footage, and hiding bodies for undiscovered victims are all good habits.
2. Meet the challenges
Challenges are the best way to get XP and increase your mastery level in any location. Check your challenges before embarking on a mission and try to do as many as you can. Not only will they guarantee you see everything a level has to offer, but they'll also put you on the fast track to level 20.
To make things easier, you don't have to coerce a mission after completing a challenge. This means you can create manual saves and reload after completing a challenge. This way, you can complete the head challenge, the fiber yarn challenge, the drowning challenge and all those assassination challenges done in minutes with a save at the right time. Make sure to create multiple manual backups at key times so you can access them easily.
