The team wants to avoid using microtransactions and instead reward players for their consistent play, and for this, after each match, players earn experience points to level up your profile. When you complete challenges, you gain glory. Glory is the currency players will earn for unlocking the various cosmetics available to them.
The available challenges are constantly rotating and you must complete them within a limited amount of time. The objectives of the challenges are generally quite simple, such as destroying enemy ships as a particular hunter or completing matches in a specific game mode. These objectives will not be intimidating and will be an easy way for players to unlock various cosmetics for their ships.
Beyond glory, experience points improve a player's profile. For the first 40 levels of the game, players receive requisition points to unlock components to place inside their ships. However, at level 40 all components will unlock, giving you a wide range of options to choose from. You can regularly rotate depending on your play style and your teammates. You can level up to higher than 40 and each subsequent level rewards you with Glory.
Every pilot will want to reach level 40 first and then after that they will want to focus on their competitive rank. The competitive ranking is tied to the current operation, which is an eight-week campaign accessible to all and reset upon completion. Each Operation contains various timely challenges and challenges that reward you with exclusive cosmetics when you complete them.
