From April 10, 2020, Pokémon Go players who actively participate in the game's Fighting League, the PvP mode where it pits trainers against each other, have the chance to have their name appear in the leaderboards. The leaderboard ranking is taken from the in-game odds from the day before for any coach who has reached Rank 7 in the Battle League for that season. You can expect to see the leaderboard update every day between 20:00 p.m. and 22:00 p.m. UTC. Unfortunately, those with inappropriate names for their teams or their coach's nickname won't see their name in the leaderboard, so you have to keep it clean to get to the top.
Leaderboards are a great way for players to see how well they have done in the Battle League. Because the Battle League changes every two weeks into a new league with different rules, various trainers with a range of skills and Pokémon available to them can expect to see each other in the leaderboard. Plus, for those who want to improve, you can see what others are using to try to counter them or take some ideas for your list.
