How to block messages on Telegram
A contact doesn't stop bothering you about Telegram and would you like to avoid receiving his messages, for you a reason for stress and annoyance? No problem: within a few seconds, you can block contacts you dislike and prevent them from reaching you via chat. In the lines below I'll explain everything in detail.
Android / iOS
If you intend to block messages from a specific user within Telegram and you want to act as a smartphone or tablet, proceed as follows: after starting the Telegram app for Android or iOS, start a chat with the user you intend to block (or, alternatively, call up the chat already open) and touch theprofile picture of the contact in question, located at the top left (on Android) or top right (on iOS), in order to access the contact information screen.
Done that, if you are on Android, award-winning (⋮) collocato in alto a destra and seleziona la voce Block from the menu that is proposed to you; up iOSInstead, you need to scroll to the bottom of the contact information screen and tap the entry Block user to stop receiving messages from the user in question. In both cases, confirm your choice by pressing the button OK /Yes.
Note: if you want to continue receiving messages from the aforementioned contact, without being notified by any notification, go to the contact information screen and intervene on the item Notifications to disable it.
In case of second thoughts, you can unblock a user at any time: if you are on Telegram to Android, swipe from left to center to call up the main menu of the app, press on the items Settings, Privacy and security e Blocked users, make a long tap on the contact you want to unblock and touch the item Unlock which is shown on the screen.
As for, instead, iOS, tocca il pulsating Settings located in the lower right corner of the app, go to the sections Privacy and security e Blocked users and, after identifying the contact to be unlocked, swipe it from right to left and press the button Delete that appears on the screen.

As for Telegram for PC, blocking messages from a specific contact is really very simple: after starting the program, locate the chat of your interest using the left part of the window, right-click on its preview and, from the menu proposed, select the item Block user. If necessary, you can use the same menu to delete both the contact that the chat window.
Note: if you have never chatted with the person you would like to block but still want to prevent them from contacting you on Telegram, you can search using the appropriate bar located at the top of the chat list (identified by an icon in the shape of magnifying glass) and, once you have identified the result that suits you best, carry out the same steps seen above.
In case of second thoughts, you can provide for the unblocking of one or more contacts in a very simple way: click on the button ☰ located at the top left and press on the items Settings, Privacy and security e Blocked users. Once this is done, locate the contact you want to unblock in the proposed list and, finally, click on the link Unlock corresponding to it: starting from this moment, you will restart to receive (and can send) the messages from the user in question.
Web
Do you usually use Telegram directly from your computer">computer">computer">computer's browser, but haven't yet figured out how to block messages from unwanted contacts? No problem: this is a very simple operation that can be done in just a few clicks.
How? I'll explain it to you right away: first, log in to Telegram Web and, through the left bar of the page, open the chat relating to the user you want to block (or, possibly, search for the contact using the search bar above and start a new empty conversation).
Once this is done, click on contact name that appears at the top, selects the item Other… from the panel displayed on the screen, click on the item Block user And that's it! If necessary, from the same menu you can remove both the contact that l 'entire chat, making use of the appropriate options.
Note: if it is not your intention to completely block the messages received by the contact in question, but you no longer want to view the related notifications, press the item Disable notifications and indicate the period "of silence" that you prefer.
In case of second thoughts, you can unblock the blocked contacts again by repeating the steps seen above and selecting, this time, the item Unblock user. At the time I am writing you this guide, Telegram Web does not foresee the presence of a list of blocked contacts.
How to block calls on Telegram
You want to prevent your Telegram contacts (or part of them) from using voice calls to reach you via the app? No problem: you can completely or partially block this functionality both on Telegram for smartphones / tablets and on Telegram for computer">computer">computer">computers. Below I will explain how to do it in both cases.
Android / iOS
If you do not want Telegram users to be able to track you via voice call on the app for smartphones and tablets, follow these steps: if you are on Android, swipe left to center to access the app settings panel. If, on the other hand, you find yourself on iOS, award your bottone Settings (the form ofgear) located in the lower right corner.
Once this is done, tap on the rumors Privacy and security e Voice calls: at this point, you can choose whether to allow voice calls only to users belonging to the contact list, by placing the check mark next to the item My contacts, or completely block the reception of calls, by setting a check mark next to the item Nobody.
In all cases, if you wish, you can choose the users who will be able to bypass the block and call you via the app by pressing on the voice Consenti semper; in the same way, you can selectively choose the users to block and to prevent from making voice calls to you, by intervening on the voice Never allow.
When the modification is complete, click on the button ✓ (if you are on Android) or on the voice Done (if you are on iOS), both located at the top right.

Telegram for PC allows the reception and sending of voice calls, as long as a microphone is installed on the computer">computer">computer">computer. If necessary, however, you can prevent this from happening in a very simple way: first, click on the button ☰ placed in the upper left, then on the item Settings that appears in the proposed panel and, subsequently, on the option Privacy & Security.
Once in the new screen, click on the item Voice calls and, to completely block the reception of calls on Telegram, put the check mark next to the item Nobody. If you wish, you can allow some contacts to bypass the block and call you anyway: to do so, click on the entry Add users placed next to the wording Always allow and then indicates the contacts who will be able to reach you via voice call.
Alternatively, you can block calls from only Telegram users not present in the contact list: in this case, you must put the check mark next to the item My contacts. Again, you can act selectively and indicate both the contacts for which always allow voice calls, both those for which never allow them.
How to block bots on Telegram
Block a muzzle on Telegram, thus preventing any interaction between the latter and your profile, is an extremely simple operation that can be carried out from an app, from a computer">computer">computer">computer program and, although only partially, through the Web version of Telegram .
Android / iOS
To inhibit the operation of a bot associated with your Telegram profile on a smartphone or tablet, proceed as follows: first, start the Telegram app for Android or iOS and locate the chat relating to the bot in the list of active conversations; after that, touch theimage of the bot located at the top to access the contact information screen and, if you are on Android, pig sul sul bottone (⋮) placed at the top and touch the items Stop bot e OK; if you are using iOSinstead, scroll down the information panel, tap on the item Stop bot placed at the bottom and confirms the will to proceed by pressing the button Yes.
Note: on Telegram for Android, you can block bots even faster by making a long tap on the chat preview and tapping the item Delete and stop and from the proposed menu.
In case of second thoughts, you can unblock blocked bots using the same procedure already seen for unblocking contacts; after that, access the chat window of the bot and press the button Launch bot placed in the same.

Blocking a Telegram bot via the client for Windows or macOS is very simple: first, locate the bot in the list of active chats; then right click on its preview and select the item Stop and block bots from the proposed menu. That's all! If you wish, you can completely remove the conversation with the bot by pressing on the voice Delete chat present in the same menu.
In case it was not your intention to stop the operation of the bot but only to avoid receiving notifications, access the menu seen just now and choose the item Disable notifications, subsequently indicating the most appropriate period of "silence".
If you had to think again, you can access the list of blocked bots (and possibly restart them) within a couple of clicks: after pressing the button ☰, located in the upper left corner of the program, click on the items Settings, Privacy e Blocked users. At this point, locate the bot of your interest and click on the item Restart corresponding to it to make it operational again: more difficult said than done, don't you think?
Web
For Telegram Web, the bot blocking system has some small shortcomings: after carrying out the procedure, the messages coming from the bot will no longer be visible, however its operation may not finish completely. In other words, this means that Telegram Web allows you to block active bots, but not to stop them (which, instead, you can comfortably do both from the PC client and from the smartphone and tablet apps).
Having clarified this point, it's time to take action: after connecting to the web page of the service and having logged in, locate the bot to block in the left part of page, the one that contains the list of active chats (helping you, if necessary, with the search bar located at the top).
Once this is done, click on the preview of the bot to open it in full screen, presses on its name and then on the item Block user placed in the panel that appears on the screen; to get rid of the entire chat window, repeat the previous steps and select, this time, the voice Delete chat, confirming the will to proceed after pressing the button of the same name.
To disable the notifications of the bot, without however blocking it completely, just move to OFF the levetta Notifications located in the same panel.
