Preliminary information
Before I explain to you what it needs to do for Scarcare Microsoft Word, it seems only right to inform you about the various software versions available and their prices.
- Office 365 - is a subscription service from Microsoft that includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote in their versions for Windows and macOS and Access for Windows with unlimited updates. It also includes 1TB of online space on OneDrive, 60 minutes of Skype conversations per month, additional features for the Office apps for smartphones and tablets and the ability to use the Office apps on smartphones and tablets larger than 10.1 ″. It is available in a variant of 7 euros / month that limits the use of applications to a single computer and a single mobile device and a variant of 10 euros / month with a first month of free trial that allows you to use all applications on 6 computers. and mobile devices.
- Office Home & Student - is the standard version of Office. It is available for Windows and macOS and requires the payment of a one-time license of 149 euros with updates limited to the purchased release. There is no free trial period.
- Word per Windows 10 - is the stand alone version of Word available on the Microsoft Store of Windows 10 and costs 135 euros.
- Word via macOS - is the stand alone version of Word for Mac. It can be downloaded for free, but its use requires a subscription to Office 365.
- Word for smartphones and tablets - Word is also available on Android and iOS. It is free for devices with a diagonal of 10.1 ″ or less, while it requires the Office 365 plan for devices with a larger size. The Office 365 subscription also unlocks some additional features for the Word app on 10.1 ″ and smaller devices.
Download Microsoft Word on PC
If you want Scarcare Microsoft Word on your PC, the first thing you need to do is click here to connect to the website of Office 365, which, as mentioned, allows you to try the entire Office suite for free for 30 days with no obligation to renew. Then click on the button Try free for 1 month and sign in with your Microsoft account. In case you don't have a Microsoft account yet you can create one by following my guide on how to create a Microsoft account.
After logging in, click on the button NEXT and choose a payment method to associate with your account: based on your needs, you can choose whether to use the credit / debit card, thedirect debitor the account PayPal. Then fill in the fields displayed providing all the information regarding the selected payment method, click on the item to enter yours address and proceed accordingly.
Note that although you are required to provide a payment method, Microsoft allows you to download Office and use it for free for a certain amount of time. If you want to deactivate the automatic renewal of the subscription in order to avoid being charged in the period following the trial, just click here and take advantage of the appropriate form attached to the web page displayed.
After indicating the payment method and address, proceed by confirming all your details by clicking on NEXT, Save e Subscribe and proceed with the Office download. As already mentioned, if you have a Mac, you can also download Word only by contacting the Mac App Store.
Once the download is complete, if you have downloaded the "standard" Office 365 installation package (in .exe on Windows and pkg on macOS), start the latter and wait for all the components of the Office suite to be downloaded and then installed. At the end of the procedure, start Word and activate your copy of the program by logging in with your Microsoft account information.
Download Microsoft Word on smartphones and tablets
As already mentioned, in addition to computers, it is also possible to download Microsoft Word on smartphones and tablets and it is free for all devices that have dimensions equal to or less than 10.1 ″.
If you want to download Microsoft Word on a smartphone or tablet Android, you can download the app from the Google Play Store. To do this, press here directly from your mobile device, then press on Install. Wait, therefore, for the download of the application to be started and completed, then open the app by tapping on its icon added to the screen where all the applications are collected.
If you are interested download Microsoft Word on iPhone o iPad, instead go to the App Store. To do this, press here directly from your device and then tap on Get. If prompted, verify your identity with Face ID, Touch ID or Apple account password, then wait for the application download to start and complete.
Microsoft Word for Android and iOS includes everything you need to create, view and edit DOC and DOCX documents. The application supports opening and saving documents from OneDrive, Dropbox and iCloud (only on iOS).
The full version of the application, available only to Office 365 subscribers, includes the ability to insert section breaks in documents, use WordArt, activate columns in the page layout, add and edit chart elements, and other advanced features.
