At the start of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can choose what your character looks like. But when it comes to color selection, you can only choose natural hair colors: Black, Brown, Blonde, Red and Gray.
If you want to add some more vibrant color to your
locks, here's how.

Nook Miles
You're going to need a lot of Nook Miles to get your
dyed hair if you just started. You will first have to reimburse the 5000 miles
that you owe Tom Nook, then your actual purchase of the Stylish Top 8
Hair Colors will cost you 3000 miles.
That said, it is important to note that this is a
buy only, and it is a good idea to buy the Pocket organization guide (5000 miles) to give you more space and Pretty Good Tools Recipes (3000
miles) to upgrade your tools before purchasing your hair dye.

Unlike previous Animal Crossing titles, you can edit
your hair color as many times as you want at no extra cost to you, but
to do this, you must own a mirror. Getting a mirror is a bit
harder, but the easiest way to get one is to find a message in a bottle
recipe mirror inside.
To get a mirror you can also get one
a slingshot ball present or knocking over one from a tree, but the
going to be a lot easier.
Once you have a mirror, you can install it anywhere you like,
but in your home is recommended. If you press A next to it, you can change
your appearance. The purchase you made will automatically update
selection. Select the hair icon to see all of your new vibrant dye options.
