There are two types of currencies in Hockey Ultimate Team: points and coins. Points, which can only be acquired with real money, can be used to purchase HUT packs. Coins, on the other hand, can be used to purchase packs, as well as player, team, and consumable items in the auction room. Take on offline challenges and squad battles
If you are just starting out on your team, this is probably the best route to take. Completing offline challenges will not only give you a chance to earn packs, depending on the type, but also coins. However, not all challenges are created equal. Some will bring back consumables or player packs as a reward. Other challenges might give you a lot of coins. Be sure to look at the details of each challenge, as well as the objectives, to see what the rewards are.
Another way to earn coins is Squad Battles. In Squad Battles, players can compete against other HUT teams in offline action in a single game. You will also have the opportunity to compete against custom teams created by influencers and professional athletes. Not only can you earn coins in squad battles, the more you play, you will also have the opportunity to earn packs and other rewards.
Complete goals and milestones
Completing HUT objectives can also earn HUT Coins. To find the objectives to be achieved, click on the box at the bottom right titled “Objectives and Milestones” which is located in the Central HUT tab.
