How to find and delete viruses and SPAM on iPhone (calendar, app, popup)

I wanted to make this video to answer the many questions I often get privately about viruses - and fake viruses - for iPhone. Most of the time it comes to SPAM, like what affects the calendar, other times there may be another problem. In short, in this video I have tried to summarize all the ways on how find and eliminate viruses and SPAM on iPhone.

In fact, in this article, we will summarize these tips by talking about them briefly so that you can have everything at your fingertips in this article. To get immediate feedback, however, as always, I suggest you take a look at the video you see above! Let's begin:

How to find viruses and SPAM on iPhone

After all the messages I receive daily from the people who follow us, I decided to clarify the "iPhone virus" situation for a moment and distinguish simple SPAM, from advertisements and from "real" viruses that are practically almost impossible to catch (even I can confirm that you don't even need an antivirus on the iPhone).

Misleading advertising

If you are browsing the internet and you see such messages, where they warn you of the presence of a virus in your iPhone, well do not bite! How can you think that just by browsing a site, it will be able to scan your iPhone in a fraction of a second (complete with encrypted and protected files) telling you - look at it - that you have viruses? Absolutely impossible, and all I can assure you is: DO NOT CLICK nowhere, but look for a button in the browser to go back or better close the tab.

However, often when we run into similar pages, what happens is an infinity of pages that open before our eyes that sometimes we are unable to close. But there is a solution! Go in Settings, then Safari. Here go to Advanced and then in “Web site data” and then delete all the saved data by deleting every open page, as I showed you in the video above.

Calendar full of SPAM

Is the calendar chock full of events you've never created? Blame for the misleading advertisements we were talking about a moment ago. By simply clicking on one of them your calendar could be filled with daily real rubbish (SPAM), and this is happening so often to so many users that Apple itself has decided to write an ad hoc guide on how to solve the problem.

Quite simply give them Settings go in Calendar and then in Account. From here, notice if there is an account that is not yours: in this case it is the problem, an account that is not yours that continually creates SPAM calendar events on your iPhone. To delete it select that account and eliminate it; automatically all related events will be removed.

Only download apps from the Apple Store!

On the Apple App Store there are only certified applications and therefore "non malevole”And clicking on advertisements or strange links, it is very likely that you will be asked to download and install a" malicious "app (but not necessarily a virus) which obviously does not come from the App Store but from a scam site. This happens more often than you can imagine, and such apps can do everything on your iPhone. If you have one you have most likely also noticed that the iPhone drains quickly and heats up on the back (near the processor). This is because that app is always on the backgroud (without your consent) consuming resources and battery.

Go in the Settings and then in Battery and from the report you can check all the apps that have consumed the battery. If you find the name of a strange or unfamiliar app, run to uninstall it! In the worst case, the only thing we can recommend is to reset the iPhone, but without restoring the backup, because in the backup that malicious application could also be “saved”.
