How to fix hitch and play errors near contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone

The Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived, and it's free for everyone on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. All you need to do is search for Warzone in your respective store market and you can start downloading it to play. Although the game is free for everyone, some players are experiencing some errors. One notable bug is that players encounter additional hang-ups and errors when attempting to approach Contracts, Special Objectives in the game.

Contracts are special objectives that you can pick up in the Battle Royale Warzone encounter. When you approach them, you and your team have a limited amount of time to complete them. These contracts include recovery, reconnaissance and bounty missions. You want to acquire them to increase your team's amount of money, giving you access to special abilities and items that you can use during the game. Some players, when running or getting close to a contract, will start to hang or their game will encounter an error.

Right now, the only fix gamers can possibly do is run a game scan to try to fix the issue or reinstall it. Infinity Ward has no solution at this time, but they are working on it and know the issue. If reinstalling or running a scan does not resolve the issue, players may need to avoid any contracts they find in the game until further notice. Those who can't use Contracts to their advantage may want to rely on any loot caches they find on the map to compensate for this. Fortunately, however, the errors and glitches don't seem to affect the other game mode, Plunder.

Infinity Ward will manifest and fix the issue in a future patch. You should expect to see it in the next few weeks.
