Pokémon Go's Valentine's Day event brought two much-loved additions to the game. From Friday, February 14, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. to Monday, February 17, 2020 at 22:00 p.m. in your local time zone, Pink Pokémon will appear more often in the wild, in raids, in eggs, and in field research encounters.
Audino et Alomomola have both been added to the game, and will be available to catch in the wild, and can hatch from 7 km eggs. They are rare, unfortunately, so it can take a lot of work to find one. The good news is that both Pokémon will still be around after the event ends, so if you don't catch one soon, you'll have a good chance of doing so even after the event ends.
The Valentine's Day event also features new research and one of the rewards though a meeting with Alomomola. You can find all the research tasks below:
- Catch 14 Luvdisc - Meet Alomomola
- Catch 5 Slowpoke ou Whismur – 1000 Stardust
- Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts - meet Chansey
- Hatch 3 Eggs - Meet Lickitung
- Evolves in Hoppip - Encounter with Cherubs
During the event, you'll also receive double-take candy, and Lure will last six hours instead of 30 minutes. Chansey, Clefairy, Miltank, Slowpoke, Whismur will all spawn at an increased rate, and Siny Chansey can be found in the wild, while Shiny Happiny can be found from eggs.
Finally, on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m. local time, Lickitung will participate in four-star raids and experience Body Slam. You can receive up to five free raid passes during the event by spinning photo discs in gyms. You can only hold one Raid Pass at a time and you will need to use them before the event ends.
