Nightmares and Fairy Tales keep coming SINoALICE as Little Mermaid joins the roster of playable characters alongside other storybook heroes. While a specific Little Mermaid / Breaker class was already available through the Hammer of Justice Grimoire, there was previously no way to guarantee that Little Mermaid was unlocked. She is now a fully fleshed out character with her own full story that you can pull out of the Gacha system.
How to unlock Little Mermaid
In order to unlock Little Mermaid as a playable character in all facets of SINoALICE, you will need to have gone through a good portion of the main story mode. Unlike other characters, like Alice or Snow White, Little Mermaid doesn't have a story mission in the first act, the Impulse Act. You will only be able to unlock it during the second act, Act of Hate.
In order to unlock the Act of Hate, you must complete the Act of Impulse for a given character. It means advancing their story through and beyond Chapter 5: Verse 10 of their story path. Once you've done that, you can edit the act in the story tab by pressing “Main story” then “Select an act”. If you've unlocked the Act of Hate, this will be the second of three acts in the library for you to choose from. From here you will see the Little Mermaid Story Path.
Additionally, Act of Hate will now include new chapters for Snow White and Sleeping Beauty for you to play. In order to advance the storylines and unlock this new content, you need to do so in your own game and not in co-op play in another player's world.
Once you've unlocked Little Mermaid by starting its story line, you can start building it with the new Grimoire available: Droplet of Misery. This Grimoire will include a Little Mermaid / Minstrel class as well as a guaranteed drop for a SR classified summon in step five.
