How to play the FIFA 21 Closed Beta

FIFA 21 is the next European football game to be released by EA, also referred to as football by those who live in the United States. The game releases on October 6, but a closed beta is available for specific players. Only a small number of interested fans were able to acquire a code to try out the game before it released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and ultimately Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

The only way to receive a closed beta code from EA is to have received it from them through your email. They have sent codes to players who are verified FIFA 20 Ultimate Team (FUT) champion players and those with 27 wins in a weekend competition. Players who do not meet FUT requirements are unlikely to receive a code for the game. It is also only available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Therefore, if you do not have these consoles, it is also unlikely that you will be able to use the code sent by EA.

These requirements go a bit beyond traditional email submission to potentially receive a code. Anyone accessing the FIFA 21 Closed Beta will have access to it until early September. Now is plenty of time to reach out to EA to provide feedback on the title ahead of its official release in October. Those who receive the closed beta code will have the option of communicating to EA the various bugs that could potentially be found in the game's career mode. EA has had these issues with the career mode in FIFA 20 and probably wants to avoid repeating them. . Many have also cited how the game looks like a seizure of money by EA in 2019.

Hopefully, closed beta participants can prevent this from happening.
