The RAW format is supported on all iOS devices starting from the tenth version of the same operating system, but unfortunately, as standard, only iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max (at least for the moment) are able to take photographs of this type (using the Apple ProRAW format).
Is there a way to take RAW photos on iPhones, or rather on all iPhones and not just those that support Apple ProRAW? Fortunately, the answer is positive and in this guide we will list a series of very useful applications to allow all iPhone models to capture images in the aforementioned format.

ProCamera. it is certainly not the cheapest application of this kind since, in addition to the 9,99 euros required for the purchase, it also has several in-app purchases to expand its functions. However, those who are familiar with the field of photography may even find the prices of the aforementioned app cheap.
In any case, ProCamera. looks like the best in this field and obviously has the ability to shoot images in RAW format, flanked by identical shots in JPEG. In this way you will have both editable elements and images ready to be shared with anyone.
Pro Camera by Moment
Let's go down a few euros to talk to you about Pro Camera. Again the application has a fairly high price, but the good thing is that to take pictures in RAW format you will not need to make additional in-app purchases. The function will in fact be included in the 7,99 euros requested during the download phase.
It is obviously a complete application from every point of view, as it has decidedly advanced manual controls. In addition to support for the RAW format we find in fact: timelaps function, burst mode, split focus and exposure and, of course, also the "Full Manual" controls.
We especially recommend it if you are also planning to buy moment lenses to enhance your photography.
Reflex Camera
Finally, we close with Reflex Camera, much cheaper for download, but still full of in-app purchases. The aforementioned application really offers many functions, all divided into three macro areas: Auto Mode, Manual Mode e P Mode. The first is basically used to take pictures on the fly and without manually changing the parameters (the best possible shot for the lighting conditions is automatically processed), the second allows a more in-depth modification of the parameters and the third allows you to set the light exposure.
In addition to this, however, and obviously also to support for the RAW format, Reflex Camera also presents itself as one of the most updated applications of the genre, as, to date, it is also one of the few a also perfectly support the new LiDAR sensor iPhone 12 Pro, Pro Max and even iPad Pro 2020.
