Marvel's Avengers patch 1.20 patch notes
Update 1.20 is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but Stadia users will have to wait for this one as it's currently listed as TBD. Like the previous fixes, this one is quite heavy with lots of fixes. This follows Kate Bishop's release last week, including a few fixes related to her in-game. New features
- New minor artifacts have been introduced: 2 ISO-8 and 2 Norn Stones to keep you warm during the winter! New ISOs have a chance to drop from drop zones, while all new minor artifacts have a chance to drop from DNA chests and the first end of Super-adaptoid combat.
- Cosmic Infused ISO-8: New Reactive Supernova Perk, which causes an explosion when taking damage.
- Cosmic Affinity ISO-8: New Reactive Cosmic Surge Perk, which grants Cosmic Buff on taking damage.
- Norn Stone of the Wasteland: New Lethal Cosmic Surge Perk, which grants a Cosmic Buff by killing an enemy.
- Norn Stone of Cosmic Nullification: New perks of Cosmic Vital Aura and Cosmic Protection, which grant a Cosmic Buff when reviving allies and a Passive Cosmic Resistance Buff, respectively.
Reassemble the Avengers campaign and initiative
- Kate Bishop's Harm Room can now be replayed.
- Fixed an issue on Little Hits where, during the Vault sequence, an activation panel was inaccessible.
- Elevators now function properly after initiating a checkpoint reload.
- Fixed an issue where the War Table would not open if players closed the Objectives menu before completing the Mission Tracking tutorial.
- Enemies now spawn correctly during the second objective of Secrets Within.
- Improved stability when entering the chamber after the Battle of Warbot during Family Reunion.
- Fixed an issue where players could fall out of the world when entering Kate's room on the Helicarrier.
- The "To be continued" text prompt now displays correctly after completing the aim.
- At the end of Masks, a second still Kate no longer appears and stands in the middle of the room.
Multiplayer and match making
- Fixed an issue where players are smoothly locked into the Quinjet if the selected mission requires Kate to be the companion and the host has not unlocked Kate.
- Matchmaking no longer stops on certain occasions for Hive missions.
Art and animation
- Kate's interaction with Mjolnir in Thor's bedroom is now audio.
- Increased music volume during Getz fight.
- Kate's arrows now display correctly on multiple costumes.
- Fixed a rare issue where Kate's arms were not visible during the cutscene in Substation Zero after completing the masks.
- Fixed an issue where Captain America was missing facial textures during the cutscene in Substation Zero after completing Young Avenger.
User interface
- Fixed a rare issue where the incorrect Kate icon was visible on the HUD.
- The Overload section of Kate's tutorial now mentions that overload is lost when you take damage.
- Various text and subtitle corrections.
Fighting
- Kate no longer turns into a purple haze after using Quantum Blitz in the air just before being interrupted.
- Kate can no longer enter an unintentional flight mode.
- Fixed an issue where Kate's Exploding Arrow did not have a trajectory path line.
- In Private Eye, enemies now spawn correctly after reloading the checkpoint in an elevator.
- Fixed an issue in Anchor Points where Kate's Warp Arrow could be used to reach the Time Bridge room before it was supposed to be accessible.
- In Tachyon Rift: Along Came a Spider, enemies can no longer be knocked out from the world.
- Fixed an issue where Kate's Triple Threat to Come Through Withdrawal could be used before unlocking.
- Fixed various audio issues related to Kate's abilities.
- Minor audio improvements to Hulkbuster during combat.
Equipment, challenges and rewards
- Added new minor artifacts mentioned in New Features section.
- Mega Hives now correctly rewards Exotic gear for Kate.
- The capacitor drain challenge now increments correctly when attacking Dreadbots with lasers.
Known issues and workarounds
- New Normal Mission - When she reaches a point where Ms. Marvel needs to jump across rooftops, the camera turns off and points up.
- Workaround: Please reload the checkpoint and do not use the ledge grapple or the swing grapple until prompted.
