Mortal Shell - Where to find Bronze and Gold Bells

The bronze bell

The first is the Bronze Bell which increases the amount of Tar you can earn within six minutes of using it. Additionally, if you maximize its familiarity, it will also grant a 10% drop rate increase for glimpses which are obviously much rarer to find.

The first bronze bell is located on a broken column under Vlas's shop. Walk to the edge after Vlas and go down below on the column to find it. A bell can also be purchased from Vlas for 1000 Tars, one can be found among some corpses in Temple Grounds, and another can also be found in a dark door chest. Tar and Previews are valuable resources in Mortal Shell. As such, the Bronze Bell is definitely a useful item for players.

The golden bell

Next is the golden bell which affects the resolution. Ringing the bell will give the player increased resolution gain for three minutes, and better familiarity with the bell will prolong its effect. The first golden bell is in front of Dim's Gate. Go up some stairs. Below the stairs is a narrow beam in the center. From the stairs, go down on the beam and walk towards the bell.

A bell can also be found in the Abandoned Chamber inside a chest after defeating the enslaved Grisha. Search well enough, and a bell can also be found in one of the frog chests during The Mist. You can also find one at Eternal Narthex in a chest at Brigand Campground. And of course one is sold by Vlas for 1000 Tar.

Golden Bells are especially useful during boss fights in Mortal Shell, as they grant players more resolve which can be used to finish off your opponent with a special move, or just to even out the odds.
