Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

After a wait that seems endless, T Ni No Kuni II revenant Kingdom has finally arrived on our gaming platforms. In this second chapter of the saga, we will play Evan Pettywhisker Felix, a very young king who will have to build a new kingdom and a new country from scratch, rewriting his destiny. Like every self-respecting jrpg, the content is really a lot, such as to break through the "wall of 100 hours of gameplay". Precisely for this reason, reaching platinum will not be an impossible task, but it will take you some time, especially for some trophies. If you are interested in having a more in-depth opinion on Ni No Kuni II : the Fate of a Kingdom, read our review.

Ni No Kuni II Some preliminary advice

Let's start by saying that platinum will basically Ni No Kuni II require you to complete the game 100%. Practically any action you take during your adventure will take you in the direction of the coveted final goal. Fortunately, there is no missing trophy, and you will be able to devote yourself to it even after completing the main plot. Side quests will be the first step you take, and fortunately, they won't take up much of your time. Secondly, starting from the fourth chapter, you'll have the chance to build your kingdom. In this case, the advice we can give you is to prefer buildings that will guarantee you new unique abilities, or other perks such as, for example, to get more spheres or to get more Dorados (which will be indispensable to say the least). Do not forget, of course, to recruit all 103 talents scattered around the game world.

Next, you'll have to dedicate yourselves to the Monsters of Evil. Once you have completed the main plot, you should be of the right level to bring them down without any problems. Next, devote yourself to finding collectables, i.e. the Chooks and Scores. In this second case, know that you'll have to open a good part of the trunks in the game. After doing this, devote yourself to the trophies that require the completion of particular actions and the tenth oneiric door, which will take you to the most difficult boss of Ni No Kuni II . In this regard, we recommend that you improve your level, to avoid having to repeat everything from the beginning. The game offers 51 trophies, 44 of which are bronze, 3 silver, 3 gold and the inevitable platinum.

Millionaire
Collect more than 500,000 dorados.

Here is one of the most gruesome trophies of Ni No Kuni II . First of all you have to make an important difference: the dorados to accumulate are the "simple" dorados (those with which you can buy items), not the royal dorados, with which you can build buildings in the kingdom. Accumulating 500,000 dorados will not be a simple task at all. Let's start by saying that we absolutely should not go shopping mad. Through the construction of the buildings, and through their enhancement, we can easily obtain almost any object we need, without the need to buy it. The same applies to materials and equipment: very often it will be the monsters who will provide them. Following our advice, at the end of the main plot you should find yourself with a total not far from the amount in question.

At this point, make a data backup and sell any goods and equipment in your possession. Pay particular attention to prisms: among the various resources, they are the objects with the highest value.

In case you already want to "get on with the job", these are the skills you should unlock to get more dorados:

  • Equalizer: Spoils Settings = Money vs. Equipment (set it to get more money). It is useful to leave the other parameters set to get more experience: this choice will pay off later, when you will have to take other steps towards the platinum trophy;
  • Evermore Barracks: Search for "More Spoils of War";
  • Evermore Explorer's Guild: Search "Improved Smash and Grab";
  • Evermore Explorer's Guild: Improved Foraging Techniques;
  • Evermore Hubble-Bubblery: "Money Magnetism";
  • Evermore Hubble-Bubblery: Quality Control;
  • Evermore Elite Barracks: "Even More Spoils of War."
  • Evermore Hyper Hubble-Bubblery: "Advanced Money Magnetism";
  • Evermore Hyper Hubble-Bubblery "Advanced Quality Control";

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Legend of treasures
Open 200 treasure chests.

As is easy to understand, this trophy is a direct result of the previous one. To make it easier for you, we recommend that you obtain the "Grimaldus" skill through research in the magic laboratory of your kingdom. In this way, in fact, you will be able to open not only the red chests, but also the blue ones, which at first were precluded to you. However, the best way to get the trophy in question is to go to the Onirci Labyrinths. In each of them you will find several chests, which will help you in the task. Once you have obtained the Sputnik, then, you will only have to explore the game map, taking all the treasure chests that come your way. There are well over 200 treasure chests in Ni No Kuni II there, so getting the "Legend of the Treasures" trophy won't be a problem at all. Remember that you can keep track of your progress in this regard through statistics.

Activate 50 instaporte.

As soon as you approach and click the "X" button, you will activate an instaporta, which is the most classic of rapid travel points. There are 57 of them scattered around the game world, more than you need to get the trophy. Our advice is, once you have obtained the airship Sputnik, to explore the game world and search for all the instaporte scattered in the world map. Secondly, thoroughly explore all the dungeons and all the stages where your adventure will take you, so you won't miss even one instaporte.

If you're looking for a way to quickly activate all of the quick travel points, check out our instaporte guide, where you'll find the exact location of each one.

The riddles will never be very complicated, and you can easily understand what to offer simply by reading the description of the highlighted items. A dispassionate tip: devote yourself to this trophy when you have built and improved the fish markets, markets, miners' guilds, hunters' guilds, vegetable gardens and farms. We leave you a video attached to understand the exact location of each of the 30 Idols cioffo.

A good deed
Complete a mission to Venturio for the first time.

You will make the acquaintance of Venturio as soon as you arrive in Canghai. This nice little man will offer you missions to carry out, which will mostly focus on finding certain objects and/or weapons and equipment. Complete one of his missions to get the trophy.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

As in the previous case, you'll simply need to complete 50 missions to unlock the trophy in question.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Philanthropist
Complete 100 different missions of Venturio.

Don't let it scare you, getting this trophy is much easier than you might imagine. As we mentioned earlier, Venturium's missions are based on finding items, killing certain monsters, and obtaining certain weapons and equipment. There will be few missions that are really challenging, in fact, you may have fulfilled the requirements of some of them before you've even accepted them. Precisely for this reason, the advice we have to give you is to accept the missions that you have already met the requirements, in order to declare them completely immediately after and pocket the reward. Do not be impressed in case you have to exhaust the available missions: time a few minutes and our Venturio will return to the charge with new quests to assign us.

In case he asks you for materials, don't worry: build and improve fish markets, markets, miners' guilds, hunters' guilds, vegetable gardens and farms to get everything Venturio will have to ask you. Don't forget to use the tokens obtained to recruit the Talents and, why not, also to obtain some useful items. Also, although it is present in all four major cities in Ni No Kuni II the country, no matter which Venturio you turn to, it will always have the same quests to assign you. To keep track of your progress in this regard, simply follow the Touchpad > Encyclopedia > Statistics > Venturio missions, to see how many quests you are missing.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Brave warrior
Defeat 1000 enemies.

Needless to say, during the course of your adventure, you will be able to measure yourself against a huge amount of monsters. Defeat 1,000 to get the trophy.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Heroic Warrior
Defeat 2,000 enemies.

There is no need for big explanations: you simply have to kill 2,000 enemies to get the trophy. We have a few small tips to give you: in case you didn't get the trophy during the main adventure, take your time afterwards. When you start playing again, in fact, you'll be of a level such that you can kill the lowest level monsters with a single blow. For this very reason, go to the starting areas, and defeat as many monsters as possible. A recommended stage is the Forest of Nyr, given the great presence of random encounters. Use the instaporte (quick travel points) to facilitate the repawning of monsters. In this way, getting the trophy will be a very affordable feat.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Hunter
Defeat a creature of evil for the first time.

In the course of your adventure, it will be virtually impossible not to come across the various creatures of the curse. They are monsters wrapped in a purple aura that, of course, are much stronger than their "colleagues". The first we will come across is the slime you see in the trophy image. Defeat one of these monsters to unlock the trophy. For a more complete discussion of the topic, we refer you to the "Legendary Hunter" gold trophy.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Sphere collector
Collect 2,000 spheres.

In the course of your adventure in the world of Ni No Kuni II , you will not be able not to come across these luminous spheres. You'll find green spheres (which will regenerate your life points), blue spheres (which will give you back part of your magic points), golden spheres (which will send your character into Frenzy, a kind of berserk mode), and spheres. Each of them will be randomly assigned to you through the killing of various monsters and bosses. Although 2,000 may seem like a huge number, don't worry: it's not at all. You'll probably get the trophy without even realizing it, and if you don't, you can easily get it after you've finished the main plot. The important thing will always be to prefer groups of enemies.

To help you obtain this trophy, we recommend the following searches (which require at least the second level of your castle):

  • Altar of Solario - Kingmaker's Blessing;
  • Altar of Solario - Kingmaker's Better Blessing;
  • Altar of Solario - Boon;
  • Altar of Solario - Better Boon;
  • Altar of Solario - Launch of Spheres I;
  • Altar of Solario - Launch Spheres II;

To keep track of your progress, simply follow the Touchpad path > Encyclopedia > Statistics > Number of Green Spheres obtained > Number of Blue Spheres obtained > Number of Golden Spheres obtained > Number of Golden Spheres obtained. Summing up these four statistics listed, you will know exactly how much you need to get the trophy.

Note: the purple spheres obtained in the Dream Labyrinths do not apply to the trophy in question.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

First frenzy
Pick up a golden sphere for the first time.

During the fighting, you will happen to catch a glimpse of these golden spheres. Pick one up to go to Frenzy and get the trophy. For a more in-depth discussion, we refer you to the bronze trophy "King of Frenzy".

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

King of frenzy
Collect 50 golden spheres.

As mentioned earlier, during the Solario fights, our Nume Tutelare will release golden spheres that will float around the arena. This will happen frequently in the longest and most challenging battles, perhaps against the end of level bosses or evil creatures. The golden sphere will send us into the state of "Frenzy", going to awaken, to unleash our inner powers, and going to increase our values of attack and defense. You will realize that you have obtained a golden sphere the moment you see a special animation, in which Evan will be enveloped by a golden light. Getting 50 golden spheres won't be easy, and will require you to engage in a variety of fights during the main plot.

You can increase your odds by building the "Altar of Solaria" at Eostaria and performing the following searches: "Spheres I" and "Spheres II". In this way, you will make more golden spheres appear.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Combo of wisps!
Make a combo of wisps.

Although the description of the trophy doesn't give many clues, getting it won't be difficult at all. As you can easily see from the attached picture, the four pieces are all characterized by having the same "accessory" or "headgear". You will surely find, for example, horned locks, or a particular type of hat. Gather four of them with these exact characteristics and you will get the trophy. In any case, we leave you a video attached that you can use for your combos. Make sure you have completely developed the Atelier dei Cioffi and its research, so you can be sure you can make all the things you need.

To get such a high number of dishes we will have to both level up the structure and get the various recipe books. The recipes in question will be completely obtainable some secondary quests. The moment you get your hands on the recipe books, you will need to get the necessary ingredients. In this case, the advice we have to give you is to build and develop farms and gardens at the highest level, and to place at least one talent to each of them. In this way, you will have a continuous refill of the items available both in stock and at Merka's market. To be able to make all the rarest ingredients, you will need the castle at level 4.

In case you're not in the availability of such an upgrade, don't worry: the game will also tell you where to go to get even a single missing ingredient. There Ni No Kuni II are 51 recipes in the world: cook 50 dishes and the trophy will be yours.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Weapons expert
Create 50 different types of weapons.

To get the trophy in question you'll have to forge 50 different types of weapons, both melee and launch. As you'll easily understand, you'll have to develop the Forge to the maximum possible level, without forgetting to carry out all the searches that will be available. The materials needed to forge the weapons will be obtained through the miners' guilds, fish markets and hunters' guilds. You only need to develop them at the highest level and assign even one citizen to obtain the resources to make sure you reach the goal.

We recommend that you save the game before unlocking the trophy, so that you can get back both the materials and the money spent.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Armor expert
Create 50 different types of equipment.

The speech for this trophy is very similar to the one already made for weapons: you will have to make 50 different types of equipment, i.e. armor, boots, rings and pendants. In this case, however, the Armory will have to be developed. Take it to the highest level and do all the research available. Do not forget, of course, to collect the necessary materials for crafting through the same structures used for weapons. Every equipment created will be marked with a red tick: at the fiftieth tick you will get the trophy.

We advise you to save the game before unlocking the trophy, so that you can get back both the materials and the money spent.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Magic expert
Power up your spells 50 times.

To get this trophy, we'll have to build and develop the Magic Laboratory of Eostaria. As well as the armor and equipment, we'll have to develop the building to the highest level and do all the research. Each spell can be enhanced about 15 times. Obviously, after a certain number of upgrades, the materials needed for its further enhancement will change. Needless to say, as we continue through the story of Ni No Kuni II , we will get new characters, which will bring in dowry of new spells to develop. As is easy to understand, it will not be impossible to get your hands on this trophy.

We advise you to save the game before unlocking the trophy, so you can get back both the materials and the money spent.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Expert of cioffi
Create 50 different wisps.

Once you have recruited Aunt Martha and built the Atelier dei cioffi, you can devote yourself to the creation of these nice little beings. Once again, we will have to develop the building to the maximum, without forgetting, of course, to do all the research that will make us available. In this way we will increase the number of cioffi available for the creation and decrease the price and the materials needed for their crafting. Create 50 cioffi and the trophy will be yours.

We recommend that you save the game before unlocking the trophy, so that you can get back both the materials and the money spent.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Expanding Kingdom
Build 20 buildings in Eostaria.

In the course of your experience as king, you will literally have to build a kingdom out of nothing. As you progress through the game, and as the level of your castle increases, more and more buildings will be available. The advice we have to give you is to recruit as many talents as possible, and then devote yourself to building. Construct 20 buildings in Eostaria and the trophy will be yours.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

A magnificent castle
Take the castle of Eostaria to level 4.

As we have told you before, the castle of Eostaria can be developed by leveling it up. This will unlock new buildings, and give your kingdom an even more beautiful look. Each level increase will have special requirements to meet: for example, to get the third level, you will need to have built a certain number of buildings and have at least 50 talents. In the case of level 4, you will need to have recruited all 103 talents and built 64 buildings. Once this is done, we will need 3 million real dorados. In order to accumulate them, we'll need to expand the crates to the maximum and leave the console on for a while, but we won't have to be patient for long.

As some may have guessed, this is a trophy obtainable once the main quest is completed. The latest talents, in fact, will not appear until you have completed the main storyline of the game. For a more in-depth discussion, let's refer you to the silver trophy "Talents Everywhere!

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

First battle
Finish a field battle for the first time.

Trophy linked to the main story, you can't miss it. You will be assigned to the third chapter when you complete the first field battle.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Expert Strategist
Finish 50 field battles.

We are probably looking at the most boring trophy in Ni No Kuni II . It's good to make an important premise: to unlock it we won't have to complete 50 field battles, but 50 different field battles. Repeating the same battle several times, even in difficult mode, will not change the counter. The most boring and intricate part is that the field battles will often be generated randomly. Some will be assigned to you as side quests, while you will find other banners scattered around the game map. The advice we have to give you is to dedicate yourself to the trophy after getting the Sputnik blimp, so you can better analyze the game map.

To keep track of your progress you can see the statistics. To understand if you're mistakenly repeating a field battle already done, you just need to see if you can upgrade to the difficult level: if you're allowed, you're facing a battle already faced in the past.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

The dream door
Open a dream door for the first time.

During the fourth chapter, you will be given the key to open the dreamlike doors, which will grant you access to the dreamlike mazes, dungeons without a general map and increasing difficulty, with a final boss. Enter one of them for the first time and you will get the trophy.

If you're looking for entrances to the various dream labyrinths, check out our Oneiric Gates Guide, which will tell you how to deal with the various dungeons.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Danger!
Reach danger level 5 in a dream maze.

As mentioned earlier, dream labyrinths will have an increasing difficulty. As you enter, you will notice a counter that will be level 1 at the beginning and will increase in level over time. This level increase will correspond to the increase in the level of the monsters you will encounter in the maze, including the final boss. Since each maze is made up of several floors, it is of primary importance to understand where the doors are to descend to the lower floors, until you reach the final confrontation. In case the level has increased too much, you can offer the purple spheres to the statues of the goddess that you will meet during your explorations.

Needless to say, these spheres will also be used to unlock the blue trunks in the dungeon, so choose carefully what to do with them. To get the trophy you'll simply have to wait for the danger indicator to go up to the fifth level. Even if you have done all the research in the dimensional laboratory, don't worry: you will always be able to unlock the trophy in question.

Silver Trophies

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

King of the missions
Complete 150 different side missions.

There Ni No Kuni II are 175 side quests; you will need to complete at least 150 to get the silver trophy in question. Let's start by saying that if you're dedicated to recruiting the various talents, there's a good chance you've already gotten a lot of work done. However, at the end of each chapter, we highly recommend that you take a tour of the various major cities, as you will most likely come across an exclamation markers. In that case, you will be faced with an NPC (not necessarily a Talent) who will commission a secondary quest. To make your job easier, take advantage of the instaporte.

Secondly, it is very likely that some of the side quests may come from your own citizens. Cyclically press the "Options" button while in Eostaria, and check to see if any of your Talents have an exclamation mark on them. If they do, talk to them and you'll find that most of the time they are missions where you simply need to retrieve materials. Make sure you have miners' guilds, hunters' guilds, markets, fish markets, farms and vegetable gardens at the highest level so that you have access to all the materials they might ask for.

If you're stuck on a particular side quest, consult our Side Quest Guide to Ni No Kuni II find out where and how to activate the various quests and how to complete them.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Talents everywhere!
Recruit 100 talents.

If you've read before that there Ni No Kuni II are 103 Talents, don't worry: we weren't wrong. The trophy shows the number 100 simply because, in the count, they are not considered Evan, Roland and Solario, the Nume Tutelare. To get the trophy in question, we'll basically have to do most of the side missions. We won't have to forget to return cyclically to the game's various main cities, nor to make a visit from Venturio: most of the Talents in the game will be recruited thanks to the tokens obtained by completing its missions.

If you are looking for all 103 characters to recruit, consult our Talents Guide of Ni No Kuni II : you will find all the information about where and how to recruit the characters and their skills.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

An unbeatable kingdom
Bring your influence to 70 million.

The description, in this case, is very clear: to obtain the trophy in question you will have to bring the influence of the kingdom of Eostaria to 70 million. The goal can also be reached at level three of the castle. To reach it you'll simply have to build all the buildings, have them developed through the various upgrades available and, finally, complete all the research that will appear. Despite the large amount of real dorados required, don't worry: every building built, every upgrade made and every search completed will correspond to an increase in the number of real dorados available every hour. Once again, the best advice we have to give you is to leave the console on and wait for the simple passage of time.

Golden Trophies

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

The fate of kings
Complete the ninth chapter.

Trophy linked to the main plot of the game, you can't miss it at all.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

Legendary hunter
Defeat 50 evil creatures.

In Ni No Kuni II it you will find 60 evil creatures. To take home the trophy in question, you will need to beat only 50. Each monster will have its own level; however, as is easy to understand, these are often very challenging challenges. For this reason, we recommend that you only tackle the creatures in question after you have finished the main plot. In this case, you'll be at a higher level, and you shouldn't have any particular difficulty in eliminating the 50 monsters even quickly. The monsters in question will reward you with a lot of experience and dorados, also helping you in the "Millionaire" trophy.

If you're looking for a quick way to understand the exact location of all 60 monsters, consult our Guide to find all the Evil One's Creatures.

Ni No Kuni II: revenant Kingdom - Guide to Trophies

The boundaries of the dream
It passes 10 dreamlike doors.

As we said before, the secondary quest 002 will assign you the key to open the doors of the dream mazes. These are nine randomly generated dungeons of increasing difficulty. After obtaining all the fragments needed to complete the mission, we will have access to a tenth door. If in the previous cases, after having carried out all the research of the dimensional laboratory, these were not very demanding challenges, in the latter case, the discourse is completely different. The dungeon in question will have 30 floors, and waiting for you at the lowest level will be the strongest boss of Ni No Kuni II : a monster of level 95.

As you may have easily understood, this is a very difficult fight, especially at low levels. Even facing the challenge at level 80 will be difficult: the boss, in fact, can knock you out with a single blow, forcing you to face all the plans from the beginning. For this very reason, we strongly recommend you to do some grinding, until you reach at least level 90. In this way, the challenge will be much less demanding, and the chances of success will increase. The best way to level up is undoubtedly to equip the team with the joy trinkets, which will provide more experience, and set the equalizer to get even more experience. With this in mind, go and face the final boss again and again; you should achieve the desired level in a few hours.

Another tip is to fight the monster at a distance, equip yourself with healing objects and avoid getting too close to the boss so that you are hit as little as possible. We leave you some videos attached for further clarification. We are currently working on two guides for more tips on how to deal with the boss and the exact location of the 10 dreamlike doors. Stay tuned.
