Noctua NF A12x25 • Test & performance
We have conducted test for several hours on multiple numbers of fans, using our Testbench with a Ryzen 3700x and an Arctic Freezer 34 Esports, using a single fan on it (controlled via PC).
The first graph shows us the average temperatures in full load (full load), when the fans were first set to 50%, then to 75% and 100% operating speed respectively.
As the duration of the test increased, we began to perceive more how much NF-A12x25 have an edge over other competitive models.
It is important to remember how the fans have label speed even very different from each other and therefore 50% of one will not coincide with 50% of another.
Le NF-A12x25 perform better than the other models tested, despite for example the Light Wings di Be Quiet operate at a speed of approx RPM 2500.
A further test we have carried out concerns a load in full load con AIDA64 Extreme, with increasing fan speed. In this test we kept the processor idle for 30 seconds, we then activated the stress test with the fans at 50% for 150 seconds, then at 75% and finally at 100% for the same duration.
In this type of test, the NF-A12x25 they seem to be going head to head with Light Wings high speed di Be Quiet, however if we had let the stress test run longer for a few more minutes, the comparison would have passed in favor of Noctua (as seen by the other graph above).
So how much can we say about NF-A12x25 is that they are fans offering performance and at the same time silent. In fact, it is not indifferent to sometimes perform better than a model that operates at a speed higher than well RPM 500.
Noctua NF A12x25 • General considerations

We confirm every single word said so far: these fans they are currently 120 mm more performing on the market, with a noise ratio that is also quite low compared to the competition.
The only thing missing is lighting RGB, which unfortunately for some is a more important factor than performance. If you want to aim for a performing product equipped with RGB then the solution can be Be Quiet's High Speed RGB Light Wings.
Otherwise, we would like to recommend these fans over any other model, if what you are looking for is only top performance.
The price is certainly not indifferent, since it almost touches the 33 euros per piece. Even the Arctic P120 can represent a valid alternative for those who have a smaller budget and do not want the top at all costs.
