You will also meet a new boyfriend who will help you in battle. Bobby the Bob-Bomb will sometimes help in fights - and sometimes he'll forget, or just won't do anything. Bobby appears in the Aerial Tramway, which connects Toad Town and Overlook Mountain to Autumn Mountain. He's not very useful, but you'll need him to unlock the door to the Water Sanctuary.

Fall Mountain Walkthrough
By taking the streetcar to Autumn Mountain, you'll gain a new ally in your quest - he's a Bob-Bomb! Take him to the left to investigate the blocked path where the blue banner is heading, then go up the empty passage to the right. You will find a dry lake! To reach this streamer path, you will need to fill the lake with water. But how?
The Water Vellumental Sanctuary is nearby! Near the dry lake bed you will find the vellumental magic circle of water - to unleash the power of the circle you need to reach the temple. Follow the path towards the tall grass and exit through the exit at the top right. There is a backup block and a bridge leading to the entrance to the temple.
Quest: Reach the Aquatic Sanctuary
We have one goal: to get to the entrance to the temple. Before we jump in, let's go back and grab a bunch of those hidden toads.
- Hidden Toad # 87: On the tram platform, everything folded. Saving this guy will unlock the tram ride home.
- Hidden Toad # 88: Another toad comes down the tram steps, swaying like a bent fish. Save this guy and he'll return to Toad Town, where he takes care of the ship.
- Hidden Toad # 89: Behind the tram station, smash the pile of leaves to find this origami yellow toad.
- Hidden Toad # 90: At the bottom of the dry lake, hit the box near the dock panel to drop this folded toad.
- Hidden Toad # 91: In the yellow tall grass area, go to the lower left corner to find a hole. Descend into the cave below and remove that toad!
- This toad gives you a +5 Max HP UP heart.
In the large field of yellow grass, don't miss Bobby's conversation on the far right. There is an optional exit with a bench that you can use to fully heal.
Forward, meet on the bridge and a giant Paper Macho Goomba will block your way - and throw Bobby away! We'll have to worry about him later, defeat the giant monster and you'll come to a crossroads.
- Hidden Toad # 91: Hit the tree near the steps, to the left of the sign indicating the path to the vellumental temple of water and the chestnut valley.
Go up the stairs and there is another ledge with a bench. Repair the missing section to enter a Toad telecommunications stand!
- Hidden Toad # 92: Shoot the toad inside the small room near the bench in the northern part of the map, to the right of the vellumental water sanctuary.
The Toad and the room are a subsidiary of the Sensor Lab. You will need to visit the Sensor Lab on Picnic Road to get the bonus of this type. Fortunately, you can also quickly get to any Sensor Labs you've unlocked.
If you haven't already, head to the Sensor Lab on Picnic Road. In the Sensor Lab HQ, use your hammer on the fax machine to free the boss.
- Hidden Toad # 93: In the Sensor Lab on Picnic Road. Hit the fax with a hammer to release it. Only available after destroying the red streamer!
How to get the Toad Radar: To free him, you will get the Toad Radar! This special device is needed to find certain toads in the wild. Use the hose to test the operation of the device - the radar will flash faster when a toad is nearby. You will need it to find toads in tall grass in particular!
After that, let's go back to Toad Toad to visit the Battle Lab. If you want to continue your journey, simply return to Autumn Mountain and follow the path to the Water Sanctuary.
Optional Trip: Return to Toad Town
- Collectible treasure: Sensor Lab - Located to the right of Picnic Road Sensor Lab. Only available after cutting the red banner on Overlook Tower.
- Hidden Toad # 94: Picnic Road - Back on Picnic Road, there is a toad that we missed near the white picket fence in the lower left. Hit the hole with Mario's hammer to reveal a roll of paper. Pull!
- Free gift: 1-Up Mushroom - Get this to visit Toad Town's Battle Lab. This item revives Mario automatically if you fall in battle. It's super useful.
The Battle Lab won't give you any rewards at this time, but using it will unlock 1-Up Mushrooms for sale in stores! And you can practice your timing. I highly recommend using the VR Battle simulator in the back right corner. Just going through these puzzles will help you think about how to beat the battles.
How to unlock the timer extender: To return to the Battle Lab, you will also earn the Timer Extender device - this device automatically spends coins to extend your time in battle by spending coins. If you have had enough of the time that has passed, set this device to spend a certain number of coins. Personally, I just stick with the Time + accessory.
With those extra items unlocked, let's quickly get back to Autumn Mountain. You can use the Sensor Lab fast travel point to get back to where we left off. From the Sensor Lab office on Fall Mountain, let's turn left towards Water Vellumental Temple.
- Hidden Toad # 95: To the left of the aquatic sanctuary, there is a cave that leads to a ledge. Push the boulder, pull the stick and you will free this toad.
- Hidden Toad # 96: On the small island between the two bridges, on the way to the aquatic sanctuary. Hit the collapsed toad fish!
- Hidden Toad # 97: At the aquatic sanctuary, go to the green pipe on the upper ledge on the right, and use it to reach a new area with an origami dragonfly. Crush it!
- Hidden Toad # 98: Jump from the previous toad, then hit the pile of leaves to make a circle of 1000 arms appear. Use it to crush the origami bug!
- Hidden Toad # 99-101: Back in the yellow grass, use the Toad radar to find all the toads inside. One is near the main entrance, the other is in the lower edge,
- Collectible treasure: Bag of Confetti - At the Vellumental Water Sanctuary, go up the ramp to the right of the bridges leading to the temple gate. Follow the winding path to this chest.
At the Water Vellumental Sanctuary you will encounter a big problem: there are two switches to open the front door, but only one Mario! You have to find Bobby the Bob-Bomb to help you, but he's nowhere.
Quest: Find Bobby the Bob-Bomb
To find Bobby, go back to the bridge where you lost it - it is near the tall yellow grass. Jump to the side and you will enter Chestnut Valley. Bobby is lost somewhere in this area.
