The event takes place until January 16 2020, so you will have to act quickly to unlock the best Pokémon in the group. During the duration of the event, special Party Hat Pokémon will appear through various means. You will also earn double Hatch Candy and Hatch Stardust for each egg you incubate. There's also a big Adventure Sync reward waiting for you - you'll have to travel 50km to earn 50 Stardust, 000 Rare Candy, and a rare Unova Stone. It's a very valuable prize, so it's best to start planning your walking routes now.

Here's how to find each different Pokémon with a special party hat costume.
- Pichu Party Hat: Traps from 2 km eggs or 7 km eggs.
- Pikachu Party Hat: Occurs randomly in nature.
- Chenipotte party hat: Traps from eggs of 2 km.
- Wobbuffett Party Hat: Appears in 2-star raids.
- Rattatac party hat (shiny): Very rarely appears in 2-star raids.
