How to claim a mystery gift
But first, a quick overview of the unlocked Mystery Gift claim process. You'll do this for all of the items below, so reference it if necessary. Once you've unlocked a mystery gift in Pokémon Home, just tap the menu button at the bottom and click Mystery Gifts. Everything you unlocked is in the gift box, tap it, tap the one you want and claim it to insert that Pokémon into your box. Now let's see how to unlock these gifts.
How to get Pichu in Pokémon Home
Let's start with Pichu, because you've probably already got your Pikachu by opening and using the Pokémon Home app. Pichu forces you to use your workbook, a feature of your profile that the app doesn't explain right away. To access it, just tap your name and points in the main screen. Your workbook is displayed at the top here, with a large white space with the Pokémon logo on it. Press it to hear an explanation of the function. Now all you have to do is add a sticker, tap on the stickers, choose one and place it. This unlocks the Pichu mystery gift, so go ahead and claim it or complete the next two first.
How to get Motisma in Pokémon Home
Motisma is not as easy to obtain as Pichu, requiring the actions of another player to complete the task. To get Motisma in Pokémon Home, you need to trade a creature on the GTS system. We have explained that here but just as a reminder, the system allows you to place a Pokemon in it while asking for another in return. Go ahead and drop a creature you're willing to ditch and ask for something easy in return and you should complete this task pretty quickly. If you have a hard time with this, you can always coordinate with a friend so that you can find yourself on GTS and on the trade. How to get Eevee in Pokémon Home
Getting Eevee's mystery gift is a bit easier, but still requires other random players. The Eevee quest requires you to set up a Pokémon for a Trade of Wonders. This is the random trading option found just above GTS. Place a Pokémon in a Winder exchange box and wait. Eventually, someone else will randomly send their character to you, and once you claim them, you'll unlock the Eevee Mystery Gift.
