Pool of Radiance - C64 cheats

Pool of Radiance is a role-playing video game released in 1988 for Commodore 64 and MS-DOS. The title was developed and published by Strategic Simulations (SSI), software house specializing in wargames.

Pool of Radiance is the first title ever to translate the rules of the famous one into an electronic version Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, by far one of the best known tabletop RPGs ever. Also converted for Amiga, Apple II and Mac OS, the game was also released for Sharp X1 and NES by Pony Canyon. The plot is clearly inspired by the adventures of Ruins of Adventure, an additional module for AD&D published by TSR in the same year. The objective of the quest is the liberation of the city of Phlan, located in the fantasy universe of the Forgotten Realms.
The player takes control of a group of adventurers and through them he must defend the port city from the invasion of evil and horrible monsters. The adventure begins right in Phlan but then moves to the areas outside the city, where there is also the "radiant pool" that lends its name to the game itself. The most fearsome enemy we can find in Pool of Radiance is Tyranthraxus, in the form of a dragon. The group of heroes available to the player can count up to 6 characters, each of which race (human, elf, dwarf, gnome, halfling and half-elf) and class (warrior, priest, wizard and thief, in some cases even more than one) different.
