The Risk of Rain 2 The Skills 2.0 update has brought even more items to help you with your races. In Risk of Rain 2, you fight waves of enemies as you search for a teleport to advance to the next level. Enemies drop gold, which allows you to open chests and containers and get items that give you buffs, making you stronger. The more items you get, the stronger you become and the further you go in your races.
Not all items are available from the start. Some need to be unlocked with specific in-game actions or achievements, others may be related to a boss fight or a secret. Finding them all can be difficult, but once you do, they go into your general pool and can appear in standard crates, as long as you have the gold to open them.
Stides of Heresy Details, and how to unlock
You can get the new Strides of Heresy item from a Moon Plant, but you'll need a Moon Coin to unlock it. You can collect lunar coins by killing powerful enemies. It would appear that they have an increased chance of ending up in this update, although this is based on anecdotal evidence at the moment.
The Strides of Heresy will replace your utility skill with a new skill called Shadowfade. Shadow reduction will make you intangible, increase your movement speed by + 30%. You will be able to heal 25% of your maximum health over the duration of your ability, i.e. 3 seconds. For each stack of the item you find, it will be added 3 seconds to the duration.
They are fantastic for all low mobility survivors, but keep in mind that you are losing your standard utility ability!
