Tetris 2 it's a puzzle genre video game developed in the early 90s and published at the turn of 1993 and 1994 for Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The game was also released for the other two popular Nintendo consoles in those years: the NES and the Game Boy. The main variation from the gameplay of the first, original Tetris, is that in Tetris 2 you have to combine blocks, but you have to combine their colors.
Some blocks are fixed on the screen and, with the figures coming down from the top of the screen, you have to compose lines of at least three blocks of the same color to make that portion disappear from the game. A game mode that closely resembles that of another popular puzzle game, Dr. Mario. Perhaps less immediate and intriguing than the first Tetris, the second chapter of the saga still deserves a few games, perhaps among friends to see who gets the highest score.
