The best apps for counting steps

If you’re looking for an app that can count your steps but you’re worried they’ll constantly have your GPS location, here’s Pedometer. This app uses a built-in sensor to count your steps without GPS tracking. The advantage is that because it doesn’t track your location, your phone saves a lot of battery power. And, of course, you don’t have to risk your personal information.

The app also tracks the calories you’ve burned during the day, the distance and time you’ ve walked, and much more, all displayed clearly in graphics. Plus, you can set daily goals and stop and start the step counter whenever you want. It features “training mode” which records active time, distance and calories burned during walking training separately.

Until today it was perfect but today I can’t synchronize with Samsung Health, it indicates me that there are missing permissions, however they are all given and still following the steps there is no way. Updated: Thanks for the answer, achieved with that option, hoping that the problem with Samsung will be solved soon because this app is worth it.

It works perfectly. For three euros I can finally synchronize garmin connect data to google fit. Very satisfied. I wish I had found it earlier. The only thing that scares me a little is that garmin revokes some permissions as samsung has done and stops working, but so far everything is fine. Finally, I would like to know if it is possible to synchronize the days (and weeks, months) before the purchase of the app. I understand that it is not, which on the other hand, although I would like to, I understand perfectly.

Very happy. Thanks to the developer who solved a problem with the samsung permissions issue. But come on …. I reported the problem yesterday and today there was already an update with the solution. It synchronizes perfectly and is an app that you can invest money in because it is worth it. Thank you developer for fixing it so quickly !!!!

I love the app and it has allowed me to sync from Samsung Health to Google fit. Since this last update I can’t. It constantly asks me to re-enable sync permissions and only asks me to do that one time and again without making the change. You could help me. Thank you

5. Google Fit: count steps for free

The best apps for counting steps

A large part of our well-being has to do with our physical activity, so leading an active and healthy life is necessary to feel good. However, it can be difficult to know what kind of activity you should do according to your needs and to what extent. That’s why Google Fit has partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Heart Association to bring you two activity goals that can improve your health: active minutes and cardio points.

You earn “active minutes” for every activity you do, even by taking the stairs instead of the elevator or walking with friends instead of staying home. On the other hand, you score “heart points” forevery minute of moderate activity, such as running or walking quickly. With just a 30-minute brisk walk 5 times a week, you’ll get the amount of exercise recommended by the WHO and the American Heart Association. What are you waiting for to download?
