A Balor Fomorian is the most powerful ship in the Grineer fleet, capable of destroying entire cities in the blink of an eye if given the chance. They constitute a real threat and its objective is to destroy our relays. If they Balor Fomorian is not destroyed in time, he will be able to destroy the relay he is aiming for.
They appear when the Grineer faction receives enough support to build one of these mighty ships. When they appear, the Balor Fomorian event will trigger and is a player's duty to go against this threat.
How to get the Fomorian Disruptor
To do the mission, you must equip a Fomorian disruptor. Getting the blueprint is pretty straightforward - you don't have to do anything other than get it from the warning message you received from Lotus. To craft it you will need 1250 credits plus the item listed below:
- 3500x Nano Spores
- 300x Cryotic
- 4x omega isotope
You can find Nano spores to Saturn, Neptune, Orokin Derelict and Eris.
You can get Cryotic in Excavation missions, the deployment of excavators (the amount you receive will depend on the success of your mission.
You can find omega isotopes in planets near where the Balor Fomorian is located because its nucleus releases radiation that affects nearby planets and the life forms that inhabit them. We recommend that you unlock access to Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto if you haven't already as these are the only three intact relays in the original system.
Once you've crafted it, all you need to do is enter your Arsenal, go to Gear, and place the Fomorian Disruptou in an empty slot to equip it.

How to destroy the Fomorian Balor core
Once the Fomorian Disruptor is equipped with your cogwheel, you can begin the mission to eliminate the Balor Fomorian. It's pretty straightforward, but there are a few simple steps to follow.
- Destroy the four Zeplens that will spawn once you get close to the core
- You can now get close enough to deactivate the shield protecting the Balor Fomorian; you can do this by destroying the two shield generators on the sides
- Go inside and destroy the 16 nodes of the structure as soon as you can; to make it cover all possible angles and activate the Fomorian Disruptor to generate an electromagnetic pulse (it will remove the protective armor for 30 seconds, allowing you to effectively complete this part of the mission)
- Reach the safety distance of 350 meters in less than 30 seconds to avoid explosion damage
- That's it. The job is done
Fomorian Drop
Once you've completed your mission, you'll receive one of the unique event rewards:
- Endo (x400) - 75% drop rate
- Imperator Vandal Barrell - Drop rate 11%
- Imperator Vandal Blueprints – Drop Rate 11%
- Imperator Vandal Receiver - Drop rate 2%
In addition, if you reach the million damage in a single strike, Lotus will reward you with 200 credits and a Orokin catalyst.
