After being launched a few months ago on the App Store, it also arrives on the Google Play Store Telegram X, the new instant messaging application created by the Russian company. For the moment it is an independent app compared to Telegram, but it is not excluded that in the future Telegram X will take its place.
The Russian company aims to create amessaging application that is faster, leaner and easier to use. Although Telegram has had many updates, the Russian company in the last two years has also carried out a parallel project to implement Telegram X. The application is very different from the "original" one: the development code is completely different without any link with the libraries used for the "first Telegram". The application can be downloaded for free from online markets, but for the moment nothing is known about its future: if the project does not bring results, the application could also be canceled.
What is Telegram X
The project Telegram X was born above all from the Russian company's desire to create a faster and easier to use application. After having perfected Telegram with new features and having seen other companies copy their solutions with two years of delay (at least so Telegram says on the post published on the official blog of the app), the Russian company wanted to compete with its employees. . The development of Telegram X kept the developers busy for two years, while at the same time Telegram was enriched with new features. To develop the app code, the founder of Telegram created a competition between developers and the winners joined the TDLib platform to create the libraries and cryptographic systems that are the basis of Telegram X.

But how does Telegram X differ from Telegram? Virtually everything. The Russian company has changed the user interface making it more elegant and trying to simplify the use of the app. From the home of the application it is also possible to have a preview of the conversations by pressing and holding on the chat. Furthermore, picture-in-picture mode for videos has been implemented: while a movie is playing, you can continue chatting without problems. Image display has also been improved.
