The Punchcard Medal is your new best friend in Fortnite Chapter 2, especially if you're struggling to get killed. This punch card is a new system that rewards you with a lot of experience, allowing you to fuel those Battle Pass ranks and earn all the nice loot. In my experience in playing today, it's a generous system, so if you like playing with your friends or alone, but struggling to rank in previous seasons, you should have a pleasant surprise.
What is the perforated medal in Fortnite
Each day you will get a new Punchcard with medals that can hold 10 medals. When you earn medals, they will fill a box in the Punchcard. Medals are extremely easy to obtain, so you should have no problem collecting them. Each is worth 2000 XP, except for the fifth and 10th medals, which are worth 4000 XP. Now not only will you get XP for filling the slot on the map, but you will also get XP for the medal. These goals vary a bit depending on the type of medal you receive.
As you play throughout the match, you can also improve the medal by winning the same medal multiple times. There are three levels of bronze, silver and gold. These levels award different XP values at the end of the match.
- Battle Medal - Eliminate a person in the match
- Treasure Medal - search three chests, supply stores or llamas
- First match medal - completed the first match of the day
- Survivor's Medal - over 50 other players
You get medals for your first match of the day, opening chests, slaughter in a match, survival for up to 50 players, and other simple in-game actions. The Punchcard refreshes every day at 6:00 am PST , giving you a new chance every day to earn all that bonus experience.
You have 24 hours to complete the Punchcard and earn all the extra XP, and I was able to complete mine in two rounds earlier. This mechanic should be beneficial for a lot of players when it comes to earning ranks for their Battle Pass.
