    Electronic Arts has announced a partnership with Turner Sports esports and ELEAGUE to deliver the upcoming competitive reality show, The Sims Spark'd. The show will center on contestants facing The Sims 4 elimination challenges, with the final Sims player position earning $ 100. The event will run over four episodes on TBS, every Friday, starting July 000 at 17 p.m. ET.

    Electronic Arts' didn't go into too much detail about what the challenges entail, but did mention that players will "race against the clock to impress a celebrity jury." Judges attending the four-week event are Buzzfeed personality Kelsey Impicciche, singer-songwriter Tayla Parx and game developer Maxis Dave Moitke, with former US Idol finalist Rayvon Owens as host. EA said there will be 12 nominees who are "familiar online personalities" but has yet to release their names.



    General Manager of The Sims franchise, Lyndsay Pearson, said the creation of the series continues "that innovative spirit, bringing our community together to compete and present their in-game storytelling on a reality show in an entirely new way." It looks like the franchise is also looking to showcase future talent for seasons to come, as The Sims 4 will present new challenges for all players, when the show airs, for a chance to earn a spot in the second. season of The Sims Spark'd.



    For those who cannot access the network, Buzzfeed Multiplayer, the site's dedicated video game YouTube channel, will post reruns of each episode on the Monday after they air on TBS.
