To install YouTube on Android Auto you will need to use one of the tools that allow you to bypass the app installation restrictions imposed by Google.

In this case, instead of using AAAD, we will use AAStore o Android Auto Store, an unofficial app that has a list of applications available for installation in the car.

Among these there is CartTube, a YouTube app for watching videos directly in the car. Among its most interesting features is the possibility of play videos while driving, reproduce audio in background, use i playback controls to switch videos and much more.

1. Download the latest version of the AAStore application on your mobile from the Telegram app channel for Android Auto.
2. Install the application on the mobile phone you will use to connect it to the car with Android Auto.
3. Open the AAStore app and, from the list of available apps, install CarTube. You will need to accept the authorization requested by the application.
4. A message will appear asking if you want to install the application. Accept it and wait for the process to finish.
5. Now open CarTube on your mobile and give it the necessary permissions. If you want, you can sign in with your Google account to see your subscriptions, favorite videos, playlists, and more.
